Willian shouldn’t be taking corners. That’s on frank but the subs left a lot to be desired and keeping Pedro on also on frank. He isn’t immune to criticism and I don’t think he pushed the right buttons.
Reece will fix RB. Unless a world class striker or CB is available I don’t think it matters. CHO and pulisic are fine at wing. Another horrible pass from Willian. He’s been horrible and coming off injury expectations were low in his first appearance. Willian and Pedro need to be phased out. CHO supposed to be back after the international break. Next week a must win if we want a chance at top 4 which seems crazy already but it is.
Just like Pedro did in the first 20 min of the first half. They have both had an insane amount of errors. Them and azpi our 3 worst players. Need a full youth revolution. Don’t have the attackers to get top 4 anyway so let’s just build toward next season. Very lucky to get a point at the end.
He honestly looked like he quit like luiz. Would rather mount on the wing and Barkley in midfield. A 17 year old plucked off the youth team shouldn’t look as bad as Willian did.
Didn't finish chances when we were on the front foot and we're lucky they didn't score 3-4 in the second half. Not taking off Pedro was bad, subs barely did anything.
Willian to Barca to replace coutinho rumors incoming? Willian has had plenty of terrible performances for us but he didn’t even try today. Horrible body language and couldn’t even try or run in a 20 minute cameo? Can’t remember the last time a sub looked that disinterested in playing. Pedro made some bad passes but he gives a shit. Willian looks like he wants out.
That was fucking exhausting. Really need to work out how to tighten things up and get a breather after the initial press wears off. First 25 minutes were incredible though. At this point, I’ll be stunned if we make top 4.

I don’t believe he has. Either they are waiting to announce when he is ready to come back into the first team or Chelsea got played badly.
Towmey got asked about it this morning and said it’s all agreed and everyone is happy but didn’t say there was one on paper. My guess is it is signed and they’re just waiting to announce until the international break or just after.
I just don’t see how this is possible. Is this because of the slight built of soccer players? NFL players take a good bit longer to get healed. Is it because their tear is maybe more violent given how strong and powerful they are? Just seems like CHO (even though it was reported his wasn’t full) and now RLC (if this timeline is to be believed) are defying logic with their recoveries
It really is incredible. I’ve got to think some combination of their age and that mad doctor in Barcelona doing the surgery is what is leading to this. I’m happy to hear it. That is an interesting point about their builds. Could be a factor too.
And Jorginho I believe couldn’t make what should have been an easy tackle. He’s got to improve physically if he is to be selected game in and game out even if frank likes his attitude.

defense as reliant on kante as the attack has been on hazard previously. Kante the only guy in this squad that is close to world class.
He’s been awful. I think mount and pulisic on the wings could work if we got better play from our number 10. Barkley not even good against the newly promoted sides now. A shame after a great preseason. I’m hoping for a michy for Barkley sub to move to a 4-4-2 diamond. Worth a shot in the 2nd half.
