Krul makes a big save and kepa doesn’t. Kepa really hasn’t done shit this entire season. Need more from him with how bad this midfield is with Jorginho.
If we're going to play Dave so high up the pitch it would be nice if he could offer something offensively (I know he has an assist today).
It sucks that Bakayoko has no interest in playing well because he’s the exact type of player Chelsea need.

Obviously it's Norwich but one of the things that strikes me is that, especially on the attack, the players seem free to play and the attack moves much more naturally. So many of our previous managers were about system and control and you could almost feel the players thinking "What am I supposed to do here" rather than reacting. Even Sarri's supposedly beautiful system never got there. It's refreshing to see free flowing offense. Also Mount has well exceeded my expectations. He feels nailed on the team sheet for the foreseeable future
Appears that Tammy really appreciated Lampard showing confidence in him plus publicly supporting him.
I love everything about that first goal. Mount's crossfield ball, Pulisic drawing the fullback in for Azpi's overlap, Tammy hitting that volley like it was nothing. Very nice. But goddamn we need Kante and Rudi back.
Bizarre stat but he’s a great dribbler out of the midfield. Glad to say I was wrong about signing him permanently. Especially given this issues we are having with getting and keeping kante fit. Our midfield hasn’t been great at protecting the defense but it could be a lot worse after watching drinkwater and bakayoko in preseason. Kovacic still doesn’t look like he can score but he is making much better passes and helping others get there.
Still early in the season but Conor Gallagher, who was our academy player of the year last season, is off to a great start in his first loan. 3 goals in 4 games from midfield. Having a big impact there right away.
Wonder if Monaco will take Baka off our hands. What an awful transfer. He may be a beast elsewhere, but he has turned in some of the most shocking performances I've ever seen from a Chelsea player. One of those weird things where he's gonna go on and be a great player elsewhere, but when he's with us he's utter shit.
Valencia not ideal for pot 3 but it could have been worse. Ajax a great pot 2 one though. We are definitely the favorite.
Lille after they sold Pepe and 1 or 2 others shouldn’t be that bad. Pretty good group all things considered. AJAX looked SHAKY in qualifying.
What an awesome group if you lived in London and for to travel. Easy trips for the team as well. Amsterdam, Lille and Valencia is about as little travel as you can get. Good for a squad that isn’t super deep right now. Hopefully we can start strong and allow some younger/fringe guys to play in the last game or two.
Really happy with the draw. Not having to travel to Russia, Turkey, or Ukraine midweek is exceptional.
