yeah I think it has more to do with the negativity around the club last season. Mason has also been playing well though. If mason starts playing poorly but keeps getting selected he will get shit for it. That comes with playing at a club like Chelsea that has actual expectations.
Hudson-Odoi starts and pulisic over Pedro as the only winger on the bench means he likely plays. I have a feeling zouma is playing over Christensen at CB because he has more pace and we expect to dominate possession but be vulnerable to the counter.
Another ridiculous foul by the ref. Shoulder to shoulder on kante is a foul but an ankle breaker isn’t even a foul. That’s a no brainer yellow and the ref was a few yards away.
Ref has been so bad that even N’Golo kante got mad at him. Not sure I’ve ever seen kante that verbally frustrated at anything or anyone ever .
