Would've got a lot more playing time at Chelsea this season with our injuries. I'm sure he's part of the plan in the future, hopefully he can get some playing time through the rest of the season.

that’s the right move as long as pulisic is healthy. Still a slight surprise to see frank drop mount but this is our best lineup when healthy in big games until James fully overtakes azpi.
We’ve seen the good and the bad of Jorginho so far. If we finished our chances though it should be 2-1 at least.

Dominating the game and losing 2-1. I think this has been a lot of the games against top teams this season. Will happen with a young team. would be nice if kepa made a save once in awhile though to bail us out. He’s been incredibly average since the super cup.
LB obviously a need but the club need to look at getting a viable alternative to Kepa. Fuck Courtois so much for forcing us pay that much for a mediocre keeper.
I’m not really sure what subs you could look to implement. If we are still losing, mount for kovacic or Jorginho could work. Maybe Reece for azpi to get some better crossing? With Fernandinho playing CB we should be looking for Tammy more in the air on crosses. Too many crosses on the ground.
I mean we could have bought a stopgap keeper. We panicked at a time where our board/transfers were a fucking mess with buys like bakayoko, drinkwater and Barkley. We definitely need a LB and I think kepa needs some competition. Our needs are far less in quantity than we thought so we should be able to spend top dollar on the players we choose to buy.
Give me mount for Jorginho and switch to a 4-2-3-1 and start trying to push for an equalizer. A loss is a loss. Need to attack a bit differently. Let Reece move more forward and have willian get extra responsibility tracking back.
Good game overall. Winning at city is tough. Played well but we didn’t convert chances early and they did. Kepa is garbage though. Been saying it all year. He really doesn’t have a lot of chances where he needs to make saves and when he’s called upon it goes in.
They capitalized on mistakes and didn't make the glaring mistakes that we did. Weird that we've arguably been the better side against Utd, City, and Liverpool while losing each game.
How the fuck did willian miss that!? Reece James is such a good crosser of the ball. We’ve had shit crosses for so long that when i watch the sport I don’t even see these elite crosses as options anymore. I’m always shocked when Reece curls one in.
