I like Gilmour a bit deeper than where he’s playing now. He’s such a good outlet for the CBs and he seems to always make the pass before the pass into the box.
Yeah. He was there before James came on. I agree fundamentally but his distribution is really really good in the offensive half too.

been doing well at the youth level this season. Will have to see how he develops. Definitely not a straight into the team prospect. He’s a guy that could go on loan and develop though if he has the right mentality/situation.

I still have some concerns about him (he loses possession a lot and tends to disappear at times) but those same concerns applied to hazard also. I think ziyech gives us a winger who is ready to play at this level at a very good price. I still think we should go after sancho and try and more consistently play 4-2-3-1 to get 3 of CHO, pulisic, sancho and ziyech on the pitch at the same time. will be interesting to see what happens this summer. Rumors that they could relax FFP because of the shutdown of the season. Will Roman take advantage and pump some money in? Will transfer fees be less because of less cash around the sport?

It was the Beckham debut and really focused on the Galaxy. Funny watching a match and never seeing Mourinho on camera and hardly mentioned.
Couldn't win the CL with that group in their prime (some horrendous luck) yet the 2011-12 team with those guys on the downside of their career pulled it off (absolutely incredible luck). Sports are really weird.

PEA will be 31 in June and only has a year left on his contract. Wouldn't cost as much as you think imo.
I think PEA is a great quick pickup for a team like Chelsea that is building back up. Sell him in 2 years.
This has been reported by numerous people. Seems like a bizarre move for both parties but I know we love a “deal”. If we bring him in with ziyech I’d assume that we are done with attacking mid/wingers for this summer and focus on a LB, a striker, a CB and a strong number 2 keeper.
Barca, Dortmund, Inter, and Arsenal are allegedly interested in him as well. The list is kinda surprising as Gomes hasn't really shown much to suggest that he's ready for regular first team minutes at this level imo. Would hate to see him at another English club but hope he ends up working out if Chelsea do get him.
