Yeah he’s awful. Palmer after 1 practice is noticeably better and that just shouldn’t be the case at this stage. Hopefully we can find a loan for him in January and he can try and get some confidence. one positive though is that Palmer looked active. You can see that he can be rotationally in with Nkunku, Jackson and Sterling once nkunku gets back. Palmer looked better in 20 min than every other besides Sterling and Jackson this season up front.
Poch wont let him play his natural position. Frankly we need to scrap the Chilly at winger formation. It makes us totally useless on the left
Thought this graphic was interesting. We also lead in big chances created and missed (shock). Have to think a healthy Nkunku and we would have scored a few more. I don't think it's too dire. We had glaring misses the last 2 games (Enzo pk, Jackson miss) that if converted would have changed the entire narrative. Think Poch is on the right track.
We’re getting bullied on the break and we can’t finish our chances (when we can break down a low block). This stretch was critical and somehow we just put up 4 points.
not sure what to make of the lineup in general tbh. Disasi still looks rough, and Colwill is nowhere near the finished product the transfer market convos made him out to be.
I really think this would be so much different if Nkunku was in there but I know when he comes back nothing will change
I think he needs to go to Germany or the Netherlands in January. He badly needs to rebuild (or maybe just build?) his confidence.
