I agree. Some great work off the ball and is a caliber of passer that really only Palmer is in the squad. I just think his best position is at wing or backup 10 instead of a 9.
looks like it. I’m okay with it with gittens coming in (we’ll see on the fee). Flashes of brilliance but seems likely to be a headache with the competition for spots
Noni is one of our better options but that doesn’t mean he’s at the level we need to him at. He’s obviously shown flashes of brilliance but he can also be incredibly maddening. Still need to clear out a glut of overpriced, mediocre attackers.
Unless Estevao is an immediate star (unlikely given how hard it is to jump straight from SA to the premier league) the club will have spent £160+ and not gotten appreciably better for this season (and might be worse). Make fun of Todd all you want but there was at least ambition there compared to these clowns.
Chelsea XI to face Fluminense: Sanchez; Gusto, Tosin, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Pedro Neto, Palmer, Nkunku, Joao Pedro www.bbc.com/sport/footba...— Nizaar Kinsella (@nizaarkinsella.bsky.social) 2025-07-08T17:36:45.782Z Tough scene for Nico.
was poor, but he's at least been a little bit better lately and even pressing some. The bar was pretty damn low
The hype train is moving way too quick but we haven’t seen a striker hit a ball like that in years. Interested to see how Nico reacts to being replaced by a guy that is more or less off the plane and right into the team. Maresca said CF or bust for him…
There's plenty of time to be negative, we have a long season ahead of us. All aboard the hype train about to take down PSG/RM.
