I wouldn't hold it against him that he hasn't made the NT, France has insane depth. Just lamenting that it's shaping up to be an "either or" type situation regarding them two. Really want to hold on to Chalobah.
There's just a whole lot of stupid in that quote. National team appearances don't have anything to do with why Bakayoko is priced at £32m. He might only have 1 start for France but that's still 1 more than Chalobah has for England. Also just fucking lol at even thinking about comparing the France and England national teams.
I want bakayako over matic and then chalobah to play the same role but play a bit more with European competition this year but I fear matic will stay.
Does Matic have other interested clubs? I don't see you guys selling Matic to United after the whole Lukaku hijacking.
Do I have access to the books or an upcoming interview with Abramovich? Literally every Chelsea fan here has explained that for whatever reasons (FFP, Roman's finances, general cutbacks, etc) Chelsea isn't splashing the cash like before as evidenced by the net spend. Is your series of posts a shitty troll?
No one explained any of that. I also don't follow the ins and outs of your club so excuse me for not knowing. But it's good to hear you guys are no longer trying or able to buy titles, although it must suck to lose the central pillar of your club's success.
I was reminded today about how we wasted a whole fucking window under Jose chasing after Wayne Rooney and he is offloading him ASAP at United.
Benched and sold our two time player of the year. Sold KDB (work rate wasn't good enough) Lukaku (brought in Samuel Etoo to give him time before bringing back Drogba), wouldn't inquire about Pogba even though Roman expressed interest in purchasing him from Juve, and finally chased an aging Wayne Rooney for a whole window to sign a deal that included astronomical wages. Oh and John Stones that led to panic buying Djibodji. What Jose did for the club in the past was ground breaking but he did his best to burn it to the foundation on his return.
And the only reason we got Willian and Eto was Anzi Makaklalakkalala deciding to sell everyone making stupid wages. Good times.
I'm just annoyed. More so at the club but all the parts Jose had zero interest in using at Chelsea (besides KDB) are now part of his United squad.
Also, I am a fan of Conte but he is probably headed for the same fate as all the others. I just hope we dont sell off more talent since it's "not in his plans"
Wasn't trying to be a dick but it was kinda written out over the past few pages. Don't worry we'll all just became Man City fans as expected.
I feel like Matt Law, Dan Levine, and Simon Johnson are the best Chelsea sourced journalists right now and even then you're usually only getting a part of the story. Di Marzio seems good on Italy but I hadn't noticed him until we got Conte.
Simon Johnson at the standard is a tier 1 I think and Dan levene also has some sources. Dimarzio get some right but a ton wrong. If law and Simon johnson are saying something it doesn't make it true though. It just means that it came from Chelsea. Just like agent have an agenda so does the club. I don't believe the late lukaku offer was anything more than saving face. When law and 1-2 other Chelsea friendly writer all have the same story at the same time though it's pretty obvious that the story (true or not) is planted by the club. Most other transfer writers get the info from agents who will sometimes give them accurate info just so they will also post the bullshit info that they can use as leverage in real negotiations
Really good article on a guy who covers serie A on rudiger http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...est-romelu-lukaku-antonio-conte-a7832316.html Gaknight thoughts on this article?
I think he is perfect in a 3 backline defense which Di Fransecso has never used, so for him to go to a team coached by Conte makes sense.
I don't really blame the player. He is betting on himself developing....just frustrating to have quality youth walk out the door and only get 5 million.
I hate everything about this window. Losing all the youth and haven't bought anyone. I think I met a week off from giving a fuck
It just sucks to get hyped about our young players making progress and possibly getting first team minutes, and then realizing it's not gonna happen. Chalobah is going to be a fantastic player, I have no doubt. It hurts to know that it won't be for us, and that we let him go for fucking peanuts.
they could have let it play out another year and gotten whatever the tribunal awarded but better this way with the player wanting out IMO
I saw no buyback clause but I think there will be one. Makes sense to sell these guys with buyback clauses but losing all of our youth fringe first team players from last season except musonda is a kick in the dick. I understand that you can't play all youth but I feel like winning the league allows us some room to integrate 1-2.
Should have sold Matic to Watford for 5 million. His incompetence the last two years should have him leaving, not Nate.
