courtois would go to real. atleti cant afford him. I think we have to sell him this summer. We cant play moneyball and lose a top 3 goalie in the world for nothing. Have to keep hazard.

They might have the money per that article:

But it is believed Paris St Germain are looking to buy Oblak and are prepared to pay the £89m release clause in his contract.

Also, it came out the other day that Hazard doesn't want a new contract.

The courtois rumors I believe because he has kids in Madrid. We will see on Hazard. Unless he is quoted as saying he doesn’t want to sign a new contract I will just say it’s media BS

Yeah, it really sounds like Courtois is all but gone which is a shame. But we should pay whatever it costs for Hazard.

Hazard gives 2-3 interviews a year in another language that read like that and everyone freaks out. Maybe he goes but I am not buying that yet. Courtois different because of his kids. Will certainly be an interesting summer. I have my doubts conte stays. Not my preference for him to leave but it’s chelsea.

agree but it feels different with Hazard now. He's kinda got to sign up or go. He's going to be 27 in a month. If he goes to Real after the world cup, Chelsea would have gotten his peak years but he will be tough to replace. Pulisic and two other players?

They will be able to afford him once they offload Griezmann imo.

But atletico is not going to outbid Real for him. I don’t think courtois minds going to real

Fair. I do think Griezmann will move this summer. Which could open up a potential bargaining situation for you guys imo.

    Hazard >>> Real
    Griezmann >>> Chelsea
    Courtois >>> Atleti

I'm sure they will. United will obviously be offering him a new contract at the end of the season and I think it will be in the £300,000 range.

I wouldn’t blame him. It’s clear we haven’t bought like an elite team. City and united have spent something like £300m or more net since we got hazard. He has to do basically everything himself unless we play the defensively deficient cesc

Today’s game is a great example. No one but Hazard creating anything other than desperation crosses on offense.

It’s horrible. Kante a great player but I honestly think our second best CM is drinkwater. Cesc is cesc. Bayakoyo is just playing horrible right now. Big key is wingbacks. I honestly think our wingbacks are so bad that we should switch back to a 4 man D until the board wakes up and gets conte 1 or maybe 2 elite wingbacks. I want Zappacosta to be good but he’s complete trash.

Would be nice not to be down 1-0 against these trash teams every weekend. Hazard and Morata were wasteful but were the only ones creating anything. Did Pedro even touch the ball after coming on?

Spending 40 on Baka instead of giving RLC a chance is so eblematic of the club’s issues.

    Fuck.

Were never winning the league with the addition of Champions League and lack of depth. Pathetic all around today and West Ham converted a chance they've missed all year.

Would rather Barca than PSG. PSG are better and that matchup has happened too often. Give me Barca. They are still not a team clicking on all cylinders this year. I think they are beatable and it will be a fun matchup. PSG v Real Madrid is going to be an awesome matchup

Agreed on both accounts. De gea and neuer are the only ones up there with courtois but donnarumma has incredible potential and is already a really good player at only 18.

Willian has killed a few decent offensive moves single handedly but everything else has been solid. Get another quickly after the break and skate in the 2nd half.

Still think we're another good attacker away from being an elite team.
