Its not a horrible bet if he takes a big step forward in year two of the system.

I myself put some money on it. I don't belive i'll win but the return is tempting enough to roll the dice

 

Somewhat expecting Mitch to regress a bit this year. It’s like last year was his rookie season, he had a big year by that standard.

 

I would be very disappointed if he did regress.

 

Depending on if there was much regression, I'd be worried.

 

He opened at 200/1 and it’s moved down to 50/1 with the money influx.

 

Bear fans working themselves up in anticipation of his return was they most annoying thing of the off season. Glad we can finally move on.

I’m not sure I’d put Brown ahead of Duerson, Shaun Gayle, or Mark Carrier, but putting Jackson in that group including Brown is premature.

Basically ended Browns career with a cheap ass horse collar cause he got beat with a rush.

 

I remember Brown having serious knee problems, guess I forgot how it happened. Always liked Lorenzo Neal, not so much now.

Pat McAfee is joining ESPN so he's no longer an option. Half of me was convinced he was going to be the Bears' kicker this year.

 

He's been talking to the Bears about making a comeback as a placekicker.

 

He got hurt getting into shape for a tryout. Decided it was best to go back into the booth. If you watch his recent tweet video he goes into some detail on it

I mean he was a 2x pro-bowler and he's still in his early 30s....

 

People think that he was a terrible place kicker because of one bad game in college. He was actually really good.

 

He cost my college team a national championship so I can do without him costing the Bears a Super Bowl. He’s a clown.

What’s the over/under on the amount of series the first team D plays all preseason. 5?

 

They’ve got too many of them playing in this game IMO, Goldman and Smith need to be cutting it up on the sideline.

 

Saw Goldman, Smith, and HaHa that first series but I think they’re all out now.

 

Yeah I didn’t see them in again, pass rush sucks without Mack, Hicks, and Floyd in lol.

Was really impressed with his two catches. Chase put no touch on either of those short throws (what else is new). Howard would of muffed them both.

 

His vision on those runs were also very good, looks like a steal in the 3rd right now.

 

Hearing a lot of analysts say our defense will regress because the amount of turnovers we forced last year was so high that we're bound to take a step back.

Curious to see how a new DC factors-in. Fangio, while great, didn't blitz nearly as much as we wanted. I wonder if Pagano will.

That’s basically his MO. I’m wondering if he dials it down some from his past since we have such insane pash rushers without having to blitz.

 

So far it looks like he will blitz more, I think we’ll get burnt on screens and stuff more.
