We even knew they were going to fake that punt and they still got it. They’ve been winning the trenches all game. Never would of predicted that.
Pissed this one away but we got lucky in Denver. OL needs to figure their shit out. Penalties need to end. DL will be fine.
Kyle Long is nothing more than a turnstile at this point. Just an awful performance. Either Mitch is gonna be ok or make a trade for a QB. Chase ain’t it
Losses to the 2 worst teams we’ve played (well, Oak>Den but neutral site vs mile high). This is where shit gets real. Schedule is brutal. We’ve got the talent but we need to up our game to hit that 10 win mark.
Unless mitch returns we arent making the playoffs.. we have been ass on offense all year and i put that on nagy.. i think 9 wins is our ceiling..
You know this D has games like last week or last year vs LA. Games that look like clear L’s like @LA @Phi @GB can be Ws because of Khalil and crew.
Did they get paid and get lazy? Is it all Kyle Long’s fault? The C-G switch between Daniels-Whitehair?
Maybe I'm confused. The Bears have two losses. One to Green Bay and one to Oakland. How is Green Bay one of the worst two teams we've played?
That’s what I’m thinking as well but Hub and Big Cat just said they are by far the highest graded out of our starting OL. I heard Thayer say similar this week. I think benching Long might be the first thing to try.
Yeah Long has to go this offseason, I know they restructured his deal but he’s not even worth hanging onto right now. We’re kind of stuck with Leno though...
Truth. To the QB “controversy” media members out there, with Nagy as HC: Mitch starting: 14-5 Chase starting: 1-2
Yeah, the tackles are the tackles. How did Leno ball out all of last year and take such a huge step back this year though?
I don't see how a midseason trade for a qb solves anything. They'd need a couple weeks just to get up to speed. Unless you want to add him to the mix for next year purposes.
You would think people would have understood how much Chase sucked after basically the same shit happened last year. He's a fine band-aid as an emergency back-up, but the dude sucks if asked to start for any extended time.
I think the defense can keep us in enough games to survive a QB adjusting on the fly mid season. And since I’m only really advocating for us getting Rosen I do believe he’s a better QB long term as well. Would slightly extend the window as well given his rookie deal.
