OL played well last week with the change. Also playing well tonight. No clue if its the calls or just Daniels/Whitehead being in the wrong spots. Either way its balanced out. Will be interesting how the rest of the season plays out on the line
Yeah if they can keep playing well I’ll take it but the lack of drive when running the ball is worrisome. I think Nagy needs to bite the bullet and go to an under center attack because we look like shit trying to run out of the gun.
agreed. Lines been fine. Receivers need to catch the ball. Kickers need to make kicks. Nagy needs to call something besides the shotgun 10 personnel handoff for .5 yards on first and second.
Curious what the score would be if our WRs could catch the fucking ball. Mitch has been good OL has been solid Run game ok Wideouts dropping key passes everywhere killed us
We have had some really good success running under I form. Not sure why we have gone away with it in the 1H
But they can get movement when we go under center. If you listen to guys like Kruetz, Mannelly, McKinnie etc they all say the same. This line can run power. They are actually kind of good at it. They can’t run the zone scheme we use out of the gun. They just aren’t good at it. And to top it off Montgomery isn’t good at finding the holes in it.
I think that’s the most annoying part about Nagy, instead of finding what works for the team we have he’s got to keep pounding a square peg into a round hole. He did it last year with his lack of wanting to pound the rock with Howard....it probably cost us the Packers game last year. Add on that he says stupid shit like “that’s not what they pay me for” and it’s not a good look for him.
Someone needs to explain how a 4th and 5 that results in a 5 yard penalty doesn't result in a 1st down. I hope the media gets a answer from Nagy on declining the penalty
Yeah, he’s been flying tonight. Looks like a top 10 pick. Is he wearing the green dot or is Kwiat tonight?
The running into the kicker we declined. It was 4th and 5. I’m sure it wouldn’t of gave us a first or the refs wouldn’t even asked to accept/decline. But still, accept it and go for an offside call or something.
And honestly guys, Hub was on the pregame show and was breaking down where we are at in the Cap. If/When we move on from Mitch, we’re pretty much fucked if we want a decent QB. Our only options are Mitch becoming a QB or signing a Marriotta/Winston as a cheaper option and hoping they turn a corner.
Eddie and the WRs are keeping us from being up double digits now. Story of the season it seems. Always some fuck up.
When they had that shit ass meeting with the refs after week 3 saying there were too many holdings called I knew we’d get dicked over moving forward.
I wish we had someone on this O that could make a game breaking play. 80 yard TD would be nice right now.
Seriously, line up in your shotgun 10 personnel and have Mitch pull the handoff. It’s literally him and the safety racing to the sideline all year. It’s an easy 10+ yards. Do easy. The ravens do it 10+ times a game.
Mitch came from a RPO offense in college and he runs it like shit in the pro's. That call wasn't the best but Mitch wanted no part in taking a hit to run it right
I was just saying to myself. I’d take Mitch just because he’s not on that crazy ass contract, hopefully Pace thinks the same way...
Ridley not being able to see the field has been a huge disappointment. I thought we got a steal with him.
