Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread team looked fine o line looked so fucking bad it hurt to watch though its almost unfair to blame the o line in general when chris williams managed to get cutler sacked 4 times completely by himself. not sure ive ever seen that
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread The Bears will take a left tackle with the 4th pick in the draft next year. Unless Angelo trades it to get 3 3rd's and a 4th.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread Williams is probably better at RT since he sucks so bad at LT. Bears have needs at about 70% of their positions though...Not sure what they'll do in the draft.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread LT, RT, G What else? No team has all their needs filled, its just that the bears are a particular form of awful on the line
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread Serious? FB... ok sure. DE? Not really, Peppers and Anderson are fine. DT is fine. LB is both deep and talented. They have like 7 safties. CB, yeah probably. You're going way overboard though
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread I shouldn't have said needs, but the bears have really shitty depth. I'm not sold on Anderson or the DT's other than Harris. Urlacher is old and injured often, so drafting a replacement for him would be smart. Safeties aren't good. Doesn't matter that they have 7 of them.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread For the person who asked about my fan of. I had a Iowa poster do it for me. He got the logo's from Yahoo.com/sports. His name is Herky. Not sure if he will help the rest of you out. But he is one cool dude.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread Also both the Cubs and Bears share 1 thing. Ownership is 1 year behind the ball. Both GM's and HC plus staff should of been fired before the season started in 2010. Angelo and Hendry the worst two GM's in each sport and both have a job in Chicago go figure
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread I texted my friend the same thing last night.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread The Bears need a LT, RT, G, C, DT, S, CB, and LB. They are fine at the rest of the spots though.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread I'd add a DE tp that list. Anderson hasn't done shit since his rookie year.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread Here were the cuts Waive S Al Afalava, WR Freddie Barnes, G/C Josh Beekman, CB Cornelius Brown, DE Jarron Gilbert, T Levi Horn, WR Juaquin Iglesias, QB Dan LeFevour, LB Kevin Malast, T James Marten, WR Greg Mathews, S Quentin Scott, LB Tim Shaw, LB Kelvin Smith, CB Woodny Turenne, DE Barry Turner, C Tim Walter, S Aaron Webster, FB Eddie Williams, G/C Edwin Williams and DE Mick Williams Bold = what the fuck? I thought they were decent enough not to cut/we just drafted them! Bears signed a handful of those guys to the practice squad
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread Isn't LeFevour the backup and Afalava started some games last year didn't he? I thought I heard good things about Iglesias also.
Re: Official 2010 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears thread Todd Collins is the backup and Caleb Hanie is third string. LeFevour was awful in the pre-season so it comes as no shock that he was cut, and Afalava started 13 games last season.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Defense was phenomenal today. Offense came through after shooting itself in the foot 17 times
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams was an ok performance. Peppers was really good Brian and Briggs also played well. Dominated game really but still almost lost the game. A win is a win so I will take it 1st place Chicago Bears
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Linebacker from IU, from Hinsdale- drafted in like the 6th round. Just wondered where he ended up and when he got cut. He was running with the #2's for a while
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams lol we're in 1st defense looked pretty sick, I don't care that the lions offense sucked the cutler pick was just something we should expect once a game, and the sack/strip was a great play. the olsen/forte fumbles were flukes. forte looked great receiving, but taylor looked MUCH better running. if they protect cutler he can make the throws. o line still very questionable, though the lions d front might be very good
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams You can stay, even though you're in second by point differential.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams "The Bears released linebacker Matt Mayberry with an injury settlement, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. Our View: The undrafted rookie free agent suffered a minor ankle injury in the preseason opener against the 49ers, and he was waived/injured last week. He was working with the second team before the ankle issue, but the Bears will have to wait until midseason if they want to bring him back. By then he'll be healthy, but he could be with another team."
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Hunter Hillenmeyer is out for the season with a concussion. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/09/hillenmeyer-better-after-undisclosed-illness.html
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Aromashodu was benched by Martz today because of drops last week against Detroit
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Me too. Even worse, I started Jerome Harrison in the RB/WR spot instead of him. 4 fucking points
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams I guess we can be glad we played the cowboys. Romo is a so bad. Roy Williams is the biggest fag ever and the coaching staff is shit tier With all that said glad we are 2-0 Lovie saving his job and unfortunately he is also saving Angelo's
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Martz and Tice look like they might actually be worth having around Only an act of tebow should have stopped cutler from being sacked 14 times today
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Yeah our O-Line will kill us at some point in the year or should I say Kill Cutler Our first round pick needs to be a LT and then 2 of the next 3 picks need to be O-Linemen. Its a fucking joke what we are playing. Defensive line looks good. Secondary also is much better with Harris at safety. Sucks we lose Wright. Looks like his hammy tore.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams LT and 2 consecutive guards would be nice. I can't think of any other positions they badly need to upgrade. The secondary isnt great but its not as desperate
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams next week Aaron Rodgers will come to steal your womenz
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Come on guys, we both know Angelo won't do that. And even if he did they'd probably be busts and cut from the team in 2 years anyway. While I am very happy the Bears are 2-0, they aren't going to do shit as long as Angelo is running the draft.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams How bout you shut the fuck up Yankees, Florida State, Green Bay, and Chicago fan.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams That is a random concoction. Btw, how did a Milwaukee school end up in your fleet of Illinois teams?
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams I get pumped that we win and then I forget bout this. We desperately need to get rid of Angelo.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams My dad went there so I follow their basketball team, but i'm not going to lose any sleep if they dont win a basketball game
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Only saw bits and pieces of the game, but I'm still not sold on us being "good." I just think the Cowboys are putrid.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Infuckingdeed. Petrified that we shit the bed tonight. Putting my faith in Martz to counter the Packers' blitzes tonight the way he did to the Cowboys and Demarcus Ware last week
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Enjoy your thread title. It'll be changed in just a few short hours.
