Brisker cryptic tweet szn With him this could be about literally anything but he’s probably not back next year regardless
I don’t think we trade Moore after listening to the end of season pressers. BUT if he would be traded I think Buffalo could be a landing spot. Buffalo needs a #1 WR to pair for Josh. Brady coached DJ in Carolina.
Cunningham is getting a promotion to a GM position. This would be an awful look by the NFL to not give Chicago the picks. It’s an awful precedent to set. Chicago should appeal and fight this if true. Congrats to Ian. He’s got a pretty good roster he’s taking over.
It’s being reported that the bears could’ve blocked this if they chose to, but Atlanta probably knew they wouldn’t after Cunningham has clearly been trying to get a gm job the last few years. They should definitely appeal with the league though
Again on brand... . You're the guy who said we failed Justin Fields and wouldn't admit he was trash and in the next post you said Caleb wasn't a draft hit. You also thought Warren should've been the pick over Loveland. You want to give credit to Cunningham cool... But Poles is the guy who made him his #2 and at bare minimum needs credit for that. Poles built this roster, he's had his share of misses but overall the talent is good enough to be a Super Bowl contender moving forward. Maybe you should recalibrate your takes on the dude. I'm not going to continue to argue Poles credentials and job history as the GM. Just know to this point this Poles take is trending in the same direction as the Justin Fields.
This doesn't even make sense. You hated the front office's work, i.e. Poles, up to this year. Now Cunningham, whose been with the team as long as Poles, was the brain? If you hate the prior Poles work, you hated Cunningham's work. It's notable that you were quiet as fuck about Poles this year but now all of a sudden, all Bears fans should hate him after largely hitting on the draft, winning the division, and winning a playoff game for the first time in forever? C'mon man.
This was known from the day Ryan was hired. The Bears have a good case to make to the NFL and should fight for it.
Ben Johnson is the Offensive Coordinator. Who he deputizes to run the clicker when he has to step out for press conferences matters very little
If Caleb had a post season like Maye had, all of sports media would be talking about the bears signing or drafting a qb
he got saved by a couple clutch throws but that Rams game was pretty bad vs an average at best pass defense
the receivers had what 6 drops that game? Do we get to add those in if we’re taking away his big plays?
Florio says the NFL confirmed to him there won’t be pick compensation for Cunningham. Even if he has complete control of the roster/coaches he’s still not considered the “primary football executive”.
2026 class is weak... I'm ok with shipping off picks this year. With that said... I would do this deal and see if I could get Tyreek Hill in as the guy who take the top off the defense this offense is missing.
There is talks he's close to returning to football activities. If the health checks out... he fits a need if DJ is moved in a deal for Maxx
Maxx value will be interesting... At his age he falls in between the "young" (parsons/mack) value and the "old" (miller) trade values. I saw some rumors that the Jags (Walker Little) and Raiders (Kolton Miller) could be shopping LT's. Little is younger with more upside and I wouldn't mind sending a mid round pick to the Jags to fill our OT need. Then spend on Hendrickson and keep our 1st rounder on a DT like Woods or Hunter.
Love Crosby and technically we need to maximize Caleb's rookie contract years, but dude will be 29 and has a fuck load of mileage on his body; basically doesn't come off the field. Good luck with that.
Yes, lots of wannabe insiders on twitter. This dude is famous for stealing original content and repacking it as his original thought.
This guy fumbled one of the easiest layups and now is on the brink of losing its football franchise to Indiana. And instead of getting shit worked out and approved his crying over not getting a pat on the back for doing what should've been done over a year ago. Fuck this dude...
How was it an easy lay up and Hammond is closer to Chicago than Arlington Heights is so who the fuck cares?
If you don't care so be it. I think a lot of people think its ridiculous they dropped the ball and now the Chicago Bears will play in Indiana.
I just hope we get new renderings of the actual Stadium because what has been released is dogshit and looks like the Raiders stadium.
