The way this season is playing out I wouldn’t be mad at all of the bears took Marvin Harrison jr at 1. I can’t remember watching a more sure thing than him
Yea you're not getting it Just because most teams don't draft a WR #1 doesn't mean it couldn't end up being the best pick in the draft
The issue isn't whether MHJ is the best player, it's what impact each position has on a team. Even a stud WR doesn't do anything if there's no QB to get him the ball. Look at Stroud in Houston; they don't have better personnel than us but he's making that offense look extremely potent. Meanwhile we're hoping our QBs can hit 200 yards. A lot of it is coaching as well, which is another issue, but one problem at a time. I just think you have to keep trying to draft QBs until you hit on one. A very good QB just matters more than an excellent receiver.
Coaching, scheme is very important especially when you lack talent out wide. Texans are scheming people open, McVay, Reid, McDaniel, Shanahan are some of the best in football at scheming players open. It's very clear Luke doesn't scheme people open and our WR talent doesn't get open on skill. Its an awful combo.
So the star QB your responsible for developing, the guy you trashed to National media members and told him he could learn a thing or two by watching an undrafted free agent QB… that dude asks you a question and you ignore him? Somehow Dorsey is fired yet Luke is still employed… wild times.
I don’t think you can make a wrong choice between those two guys. I’ve been pretty high on Maye for some time. either way we need to reset the clock and bring in a new staff…. Unless Fields plays like he did the last two games before being injured
What was that all about with Jones? I think he said “I couldn’t fucking see” when he walked off. Great throw by Justin and Wright is shutting Hutchinson down.
Of the Bears starting 5 linemen, 2 have been pulled from the game, 1 has gotten hurt and is out of the game, and another has been called for 3 penalties.
A lot of good results out there. Flus chokes this one away. Panthers are Panthering still. GB with a meaningless win. Giants win. Wish Arizona could of pulled out that W but I think Kyler will steal a few down the stretch.
It's not the losing, it's how we lose. At this point I'm all for trying with a new staff, at least offensively. Can't allow these guys to continue.
Ok. So he got poked in the eye, was probably stumbling around because of it, officials then send him off for concussion eval. Makes a lot more sense the. The coaches pulling him.
