Congrats on giving every available asset to make Caleb come good, opposite of what you fucks did for Fields
Low production in college, athletic data is not strong and he’s plays undisciplined. He pops on film but is so inconsistent. Much better players on the board at the position. He had a 4th round grade for me
I kinda want to see if the Bears move down from 109… not sure if they can scoop up another 4th rounder but there are some pretty good players still on the board. RB is still incredibly deep and you will find guys who will produce late into the draft. RB, IOL, Edge, LB, S are positions I like to see them take a swing at
He ran in a vertical scheme with some inside zone at Tennessee. Not saying he couldn't play in an outside zone system (what Johnson runs) but I don’t think he’s a fit.
This is completely false, pretty much the opposite is true. His best four games of the season were in the playoff. He had 4.5 sacks in the playoff, I'm pretty sure he set an OSU record for deflected passes, and he had the game winning strip sack against Texas in the semifinal. The reason he's on the board still has more to do with quickness, bend, perceived lack of athleticism, and short arms. He literally had his best reps of the season against Cameron Williams and Josh Connerly.
Yeah my memory of Sawyer was him coming up big in key moments. A bit of a douche but I can live with that.
This shit is as dumb as the Browns fans upset they took a Michigan player. Also, lol at “he sucked against good teams”.
Who do we like with this pick? I'm thinking RB or S, there's a few good ones left still. Like Jordan James from Oregon, Jaylen Reed from PSU, Lathan Ransom from OSU
isn’t a future 3rd the same as a current 4th? So they traded their 4th round pick for the equivalent of a 4th round pick and a 6th?
I won’t pretend to know much about this guy, but this is nice to hear. They did need a fast linebacker. Edmunds looked really slow last year imo
I don't know much about him either, but I know the name because I remember him playing really well against Ohio State the year before last and being impressed by him. So sure, why not.
This guy didn’t have a draft eligible grade. This screams like a terrible pick. Hopefully they found a diamond in the rough. This wheels have fallen off this draft after the selection of Luther Burden
I think they wanted a rb in the 2nd and the Ohio state guys went then wanted a rb in round 4 and the top 2 guys went off before their pick
They don’t use Jimmy Johnson’s 30 year old chart. I know KC uses one based off this, assuming Poles does as well. https://overthecap.com/draft-trade-value-chart It uses post rookie deal player contract data to grade each pick #. 109 - 623 132 - 526 169 - 400
Zah Frazier is a nice pick. Older prospect, fantastic final year. Great athlete He’s going to push for a starting job right away. Looking at you Stevenson
Catching up but I hate the burden pick. I thought we were going to eat our vegetables and help the LOS and we went TE, WR with our first two pics. Awful. Poles is so finesse it’s disgusting
