Pretty great thread on the offensive play calling and offense position issues. If you have a few minutes to read it I would highly recommend. I would say Nagy play calling seems pretty bad, his scheme isn't helping WRs and we probably lack a good RB on the roster. Without question neither QB should be starting in the NFL. Surprisingly our OL hasn't been bad.
Maybe we can just forfeit the remaining games on the schedule because of the Covid outbreak. 5-11 should get us close to a top 10 pick
Imagine if Pagano would dial up some exotic blitz on 3rd down after a really good 2nd down stop...that would be cool.

Feel bad for this defense, their margin of error is so small. They basically have to hold every team to single digits to have a shot to win.
I don’t give a shit who hates it but the Bears will 100% need to leave the draft with one of Lawrence, Fields, Lance or Wilson. Give up the farm for the first two. Give up whatever is needed for the last two. Either way get a fucking QB. Then draft 2 OT and a G followed by a WR. The rest goes to the defense.
People can bitch all they want about Nagy and he’s not been great play caller. But when you hand pick this QB as your guy and he can’t execute dick it doesn’t matter who’s calling plays. The QB fucking sucks and shouldn’t be playing.
The league figured out Nagy’s shit after the 1st year, if he wants to hang around the league as a HC he better give up that play sheet fast.
I can hear it now “we gained almost 400 yards, there’s nothing wrong with my play calls or the offense. We just need to limit mistakes and execute.”
Hire Luis Riddick as the new GM He hires Joe Brady as the new HC. Bears shouldn’t be 5-1. They should’ve been 2-4 at best. I hope the end 5-11 that probably is enough to have the entire front office and Nagy fired.
what gives you even the slightest confidence he hires a OC worth a shit? Look at the hires he’s made at DC, QB Coach, OL coach and ST coach. They all suck. This is poorly coached team that isn’t solely on the shoulders of Nagy that’s a staff issue. This team never seems to lack motivation or energy. But I’m not keeping Nagy around to be a cheerleader.
They got closer on the GM hire. Pace isn’t awful but he’s more in line with what is successful in the NFL. The Mitch miss will haunt him. Or maybe it’s the Nagy miss. I guess we will find out what is what once Mitch is on another roster
