Pace is tossing Nagy under the bus. Trying to save his job. fuck them both. hopefully they get something of value for Robinson
5th round guard is the starting RT. Starting LT is a geriatric who doesn’t want to be there. Are tackles important in football?
He was always drafted to play T. He lost a ton of weight prior to the combine. Kid has talent but was always overweight and why he played G. Some Jenkins should be back in a couple weeks. He was participating in practice this week.
Of course. And I think he has potential (as well as Jenkins) but going into a season relying on 2 rookies, a geriatric, and a so-so player at the tackle position is inexcusable.
He overvalues the shit out of them and is scared to cut bait after drafting them early, so they end up playing Kmet or Shaheen too much Holtz, James, Horsted... none of them are as bad as Kmet
Bears not having to punt until 2 minutes left in the third is wild. But only scoring 16 points up until that point is definitively less wild
Pretty sure I'm one phone call away from being called up as an RB. This shit's nutty. Also, the lack of downfield passing is maddening. The 49ers are literally the worst team in defending the long ball. At least fucking try with max protection fuck
You still try. They have 14 PIs against them. You're down to Ryan Knall and nobody besides Mooney has caught anything. Our best offensive play was a broken down Justin Fields scramble. This just seems like Nagy is there; we're playing it just safe enough not to lose big.
I’m with you. Let’s hope the next GM is honest about this roster and is active in the trade market dealing vets for draft capital. We could use a couple of WRs and a TE. Along with at minimum one interior OL.
