Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams I actually have good vibes going into tonight. The Packers are better and they are going to get pressure on Cutler, but after last week I actually reason to believe that the coaching staff won't be stubborn and will actually make solid in game adjustments.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams very nervous about tonight's game (packer fan) games are always good and everyone seems to elevate their level of play, this is the best-rivalry in pro ball bar-none. here's to hoping everyone escapes what is sure to be a bloodbath with their health.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams This is the first time in a long time, I have been excited about an NFL game.... Should be fun to watch, BEAR DOWN!
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Yeah, these games are always closer than they should be. If Rodgers can get going early, it should be a fairly easy win.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams So since 1990 75% of 3-0 teams have made the playoffs. On the flip side, at least one 3-0 has missed the playoffs 8 out of the last 10 years.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Bears have told Juice Williams he is high on their list, which means they'll be cutting Collins or Hanie(most likely Collins)
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Devin Hester Punt Return Touchdown vs Green Bay Packers (HD)
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams if juice williams plays a down of football for the bears.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Adam_Schefter Bears signed DE Charles Grant to a one-year contract and terminate the contract of vested veteran DE Mark Anderson.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Angelo made a wrong personnel choice? No shit. I am shocked
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Its hard to understand how this all happened, but.... The bears cut alex brown, the saints cut grant to get brown, now the bears sign grant? I hate jerry angelo so much
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Cutler practiced today. Hope he can clear the cobwebs by sunday.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams it's inexplicable how this all happened. jerry needs to go.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Bump because the Bears are RUNNING THE BALL 14-3 Bears FORTE Looks Great
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Yep and Collins looks like shit and I just lost my stream to the game dam.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams There is ZERO reason we should throw another pass this game. Just run, run, run, run, run until the game is over. Carolina is terrible against the run, and Collins is just terrible.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Don't get the game here today :curses: Looks like Clausen is fuckin' up. Good job to Forte, killin' it rushing, and leading receiving right now too!
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams My link is cutting in and out. Anyone have a good stream?
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Knowing Lovies asinine system for dividing the season into quarters, we have a strong chance to be overrated by the mid-point of the season by sitting at 6-2 or so and get to listen to him talk about how we're pacing well. But then the 2nd half of the season starts, and we should likely to 0-8 (1-7 at best with the win vs. Detroit). Losses vs. Minny (2), Miami, New England, NYJ, Philly and GB seem like locks. Can't wait to see the meltdown happen.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Congrats on winning the division. I think you guys go 10-6 and win it.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams team will start 7-1 dantonio approves of winning records
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Nah, I just realize that Wolverine himself would probably be out 4-6 weeks if he played for the Pack this year.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Damn it feels good to be a gangsta. Dantonio must feel like this every day.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams LOL Looking ahead, I'm guessing that we go 2-6 the 2nd half of the season - at best.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Vikings @Dolphins Eagles @Lions Patriots @Vikings Jets @Packers 5-11 seems very possible. Wonder what they'd do in the draft if they got the 5th or 6th pick? Right now the top OL in most mock drafts is outside of the top ten. Do they trade or just take the best man available?
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Should change thread title to 1st franchise with 700 wins imo
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams This season has been crazy. After facing 3 third string QBs in the regular we now get a sub-.500 team at home in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Of course we can lose this game, but I like our odds vs. the Seahawks a helluva lot better than vs. the Eagles.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Jerry just said that they're going to give Lovie an extension.
Re: Official thread of NFC North 1st place teams Damn it, started a new Bears thread. Didn't guess this title when I searched for Chicago Bears
Re: Official thread of non-gay NFC North fans Anyway, Bears need to get Olin's deal done today. They need to find a solid guard because I don't think Williams is the answer and Garza has one foot in the grave. Wouldn't hurt to add a swing tackle as well in case Carimi or Webb struggles.
Re: Official thread of non-gay NFC North fans Fuck olin's old ass. The o-lines been shit for years and he's been on it. If he wants to sign for a year on the cheap that's cool but if he wants 3 years we need to get younger anyway.
Re: Official thread of non-gay NFC North fans No thanks on sims-walker. I would have been fine with him until he lobbied for us to sign him, reminds me of Boozer. Would the bears/bulls have been such a perfect fit for both players if we were close to maxed out in cap space and didn't have decent teams?
Re: Official thread of non-gay NFC North fans Olin isn't what he was but provides stability and leadership which has value.
Re: Official thread of non-gay NFC North fans Understand where you're coming from, but unless a suitable replacement is out there, we're sacrificing the season if we don't re-sign Kreutz...that's how bad it will be, imo. A veteran center is crucial since we're breaking in a new LT...whether it be Carimi or Webb.
Re: Official thread of non-gay NFC North fans Who's going to be the C next season? It's nice to say the Bears need to get younger at C but you know what you're getting in Olin and he's one of the leaders in the locker room although I think the Bears will likely start looking to replace Olin after this season. Also, it's NFL money, who gives a fuck.
