When Foles was at MSU? He was drafted in 2012. Reid was fired 2012 because he was hired for 2013 in KC, so maybe that 2012 season?
But still, a rookie for one year (when Nagy was what, a quality control assistant?) and 6 quarters in KC isn’t exactly a life long relationship. Still I’m excited to see if this O looks any different moving forward.
I’m happy as the next fan. But... Foles had some horrendous throws that he got beyond lucky to get away with. He’s a journey man QB for a reason. With all that said he’s plenty good enough to lead us to the playoffs. I Just don’t expect him to carve up defenses like he did against Atlanta. I’m also worried that we see more Nagy bullshit like TE screens outside the numbers with the RT being the lead blocker
Been running that through my head all day. He had like 3 “welp, game over ya putz” throws but Atlanta is so bad. Remember Atlanta had the leagues worst D, and were missing 1/2 their starters, and were sitting in prevent like some putz. Really exited to see what the O looks like next week but I’m not booking any SB tickets yet.
The throw into triple coverage that somehow missed all three falcons players and ends up in 80s hands was the craziest shit ever. Gave me flashbacks of the playoff game where he did the same shit against us and somehow got away with it. He's got some fucking luck that is for sure.
someone on twitter pointed out how the Bears in the 4th quarter lined up 5 men against the 5 OL in the 4th quarter and basically confused the fuck out of Atlanta that they had no idea how to counter off it... It was the first time all game the bears did it and they never adjusted.
How tf does Quinn still have a job? Also, adjusting my take on this team that Pace is still trash as a GM, but Nagy is (or can be) a good HC in this league. Also, think Nagy is an extremely hard worker and will improve if given time. Still don’t know if he’ll make it.
That’s a good question. That super bowl loss is almost impossible to come back from. The only one I can comp to is Carroll and the Seahawks. But Carroll churned that roster over significantly since. Atlanta not so much. Quinn comes from the Carroll coaching tree making all the more crazy.
Not saying Ryan is on his level because it’s clear he isn’t. But Ryan is plenty talented enough. I don’t think emotionally you really can not blow up a roster after a loss like that. I’m saying Seattle was smart to do so and Atlanta banked on them being able to return the roster and pick back up and it didn’t work.
Typical B/R piece with nothing but anonymous sources but a thorough examination of the before during and after
Biggest thing I notice is how much we need Eddie to eat up those doubles in the middle. We have $9 million in cap space. Call up Snacks, 1 year contract, make this unit elite again.
Came to post the same thing. Hell of a bull rush from Mingo though. Wasn’t expecting that. I like that we’re sacrificing Ginn as the PR. No one cares if he gets killed.
Like I said my stream is crap, I got really excited that ARob went up and got the ball. When they said it was Mooney I got even more impressed.
Foles looks like Mitch right now... the Twitter world would be murdering Mitch with some of these throws
What did I miss? How was that not an interception? Got up to let my dog in and the Colts are kicking a FG
