Yes, getting three more weeks of data is generally a good thing when people are using a lack of data and small sample size for why they are hesitant to call people up.

 

The players that are performing bad now are just bad and have been bad. This isn’t some shocking revelation. Mervis mashed at AA, he mashed and AAA last year, he’s mashing now. Again, not a surprise

This is what this team is… we got off to a hot start sure, but the team is a .500 roster and we’re playing like one.

 

Aggressively average roster. It would probably be okay if they hit for more power, but because they don’t, the entire lineup has to be clicking for them to create consistent offense.

 

I don't think the panic is warranted. You're due to lose some games when you run into a powerhouse team like the 2023 Washington Nationals.
