Tried the fish sandwich a couple of Friday's back

 

That sandwich sounds addicting.

Not sure about watermelon mint lemonade though I'd give it a shot.

The last two times I've gone have been disasters. I'm pretty sure the girl at the register just stared at the clouds while I ordered because not a single thing was right

I think this is due to the high school kids being out of school and working more frequently but still :(

That Lemonade sounds ridiculous for a summer cocktail

 

It's really sweet. I would recommend getting it mixed with unsweet tea.

Also you can order just a side of the candied bacon from the sandwich for $1.

 

Had the lemonade yesterday. It was good. Watermelon wasn't overwhelming. I probably wouldn't order it but it's as good as any lemonade imo.

Had the Smokehouse sandwich today. It was good overall, would eat again.

The sweet Hawaiian bun is a nice touch. Was a little let down by the bacon. It's not bad, still better than most all other fast food's bacon offerings. But after reading the description I thought it might be a little better. I'd like to try the bacon by itself not covered in BBQ sauce.

I think the main thing that holds the sandwich back for me is that I don't like the new Smokehouse BBQ sauce in the first place. It just has that same old artificially smoked, jarred grocery store KFC masterpiece sauce taste, nothing unique to it really. I miss the old CFA BBQ sauce. I think I will get it without next time and add the honey roasted BBQ.

I'll give it a solid "B" rating with upside potential.

That part is fine. All their chicken is delicious. You're doing it no favors with poor dipping sauce choices though.

 

I find it compliments the strips greatly, I don't use it for the sandwiches though

 

I don't discriminate against any of the sauces. I'm an equal opportunity saucer. I'll take two of everything.

Except that damn smokehouse BBQ sauce. It sucks.

Is it just me or are the strips much more sweet than then nuggets?

 

Does anyone have a local Chick-fil-A that isn't absolutely packed at every hour of the day? Mine is a mad house all the time.

That app is money though. Order 15 min before I arrive, walk in and get my food a short time later bypassing a big line and wait.

 

The one near my house is usually a 1 car wait at most or 1-2 parties inside.

Once I found out that 1 Chick-Fil-A sauce has 13G of fat, I had to give it up. I miss it terribly.

go to the original in Hapeville, by the airport off 85 close to 285 south end. Also a good sandwich restaurant nearby called Slideways....right beside Delta corporate offices.

If youre coming from the east or north side of city - there is a Dwarf House off Pleasant Hill Road (spelling?) on 85 northeast side of perimeter.

 

Honest question ... Has anyone ever been in a Chik Fil A in which there was nobody else in there besides you and the employees?
