No, I was just thinking. I've never driven by a CFA, let alone go into one in which the place was not fucking packed. I can't think of any other place around here that is like it.
I mean, there's a reason they are ahead of the next busiest chain by over a million in sales per unit, while being open 1 day less per week.
Just had the new watermelon mint lemonade thing. Added some titos vodka and its very tasty. May add a little sprite to have some carbonation next time.
The one time I used the drive thru with about 20 min til close, my CFA was empty and they gave me a sandwich meal for free and asked if I wanted any more. They weren't planning on dropping more chicken and still had a few orders worth of food, or maybe I looked poor. Either way, I sometimes try that trick of coming through if they look empty before close. Free food about 15% of the time.
I saw at mine the other day there were advertising 30 nuggets for 12 dollars. I was like "please don't".
30 nuggets isn't really a discount, it's just charging you for the price of two 12s and a 6. Same with 10 count mini.
Jesus. No way I'd get out of there without spending a minimum of $20 every game. I hope we finally get a home and home done with you guys.
It needs to happen. Nothing better than bigtime OOC matchups on campus. I really hate neutral site games, but they make too much money for them to ever stop happening. As fun as our game against UNC was last year, I would have enjoyed it that much more in Sanford. Spoiler Tobias
UGA is on my bucket list. Strongly considered going there if I didn't get into PSU. We have Auburn coming up in a few years so at least Franklin isn't running completely scared from big time OOC opponents anymore. I also think both fanbases would prefer to forget that bowl game in Jacksonville just never happened.
Are they now putting bacon on the regular grilled chicken sandwich or did they just make a mistake my last two visits
They sell Chick Fil A at Kent State football games. And $2.00 8oz beers. You're not special southerners.
Had a grilled chicken sandwich meal and 12 nuggets for lunch yesterday Wish I'd bought more for today :'(
just popping in to say that yesterday at my golf tourney they had unlimited chicken biscuits. woke up with heartburn worth it
Right on cue they closed my chick-fil-a because it is "too small for the population it services". They are closing for 6 weeks to remodel. A couple of the employees who work there post on next door and say the owners are going to make it the biggest Chick-fil-A in the country. No clue if that is true or not.
We had a Chick-fil-A in college and the best part was you could use it as part of your meal plan. I'd eat it nearly every meal outside of Sunday and never got tired of it.
Hmm I'd be interested to see if that was true. I feel like CFAs typically stick to a pretty standard layout. The main one in Tallahassee has two drive thrus and is open til 3AM, even on Saturday nights. Of course that means you can technically get CFA on Sundays.
Not how it works. The company decides what remodels look like, not the owner. The owners rent the building from CFA. Plus the first one they put in manhattan is 3 stories with a completely separate catering kitchen.
this is how it was for me at Georgia. CFA at the campus food court became a must. in the pre-CFA sauce, old honey mustard days....Id kop their large packets of actual honey mustard dressing out of the salad fridge.
My local CFA did that last summer too. Of course they didn't make it the largest though but it is one of the bigger ones I have seen, which is surprising given the size of my town - population is under 20K including the college students.
I'll try and remember to post back in 6 weeks. This CFA is already pretty big though, has 2 drive thru's, two people outside assisting with orders and it still doesn't matter. Lines routinely backed up to the access road for the highway.
We've also had two in town getting remodeled the last few weeks. One is only like 7-8 years old probably but it's busy as fuck
Mobile app has completely changed the CFA game The feeling of smugly walking around 3-5 people in line to get my food immediately will never get old.
