The one I go to on lunch at work has like 3-5 working outside and usually keep it running fast. Corner of 119/280 in Bham
Chik Fil A panders to the Christian Right so hard it's almost laughable. My local CFA currently has a table "reserved for our men currently fighting overseas and those we've lost" it has a white table cloth, American flag, and a bible on it and all the patrons are going up to it to take pictures of it to post to Facebook. Applies to all three posters, for the record. This thread is for the discussion of delicious fried chicken
Even when the line is wrapped around at CFA it still serves fast of fuck. Don't really see the need to use the app. There drive thru logistics game is second to none.
Order curbside, and click the "I'm here" button before you get there and you'll never go through the drive thru again
Soon you will be able to use the app in Drive thru. Just tell them your name and order is ready at the window.
Another treat in my mobile app for a free chicken sandwich But herrrrr derrrrr no reason to use mobile app
My wife was a marketing and catering director at CFA for years. We were going through an old box of stuff that we hadn't seen since we first got married (twelve years ago) and found a little box with about 500 free sandwich coupon cards, plus another hundred free combos, and another hundred free chicken biscuit. I feel like I won the lottery.
They don't expire? Someone gave me a coupon for one of the new strawberry lemonades the other day and shit expired like three days later
Anytime Everyone at work decides on chick fil I volunteer to go get it so I can order from my app. #lifehack
I think the new ones do now and they also say "courtesy of..." whichever store hands them out. But these are older and just have the coupon. CFA still takes them too
Finally was able to make account on the app after this most recent update. It didn't work when I tried in the fall, even after contacting what turned out to be very unhelpful customer service. So I tried pick-up for the first time this morning, but I think I did it wrong. I wound up standing around inside for five minutes while multiple people ordered and received their food. When I confirmed the order it told me to select "I'm here" when I got there. As I got close to CFA, I got a notification asking if I was ready for them to prepare it, which I chose yes for. Then I parked, pressed "I'm here," and went inside. What did I do wrong/was I just unlucky?
Some CFAs may not take them. They used to mail in any cards from other stores and get reimbursed, but they don't do that anymore after going all digital.
I will usually say "I'm here" 2-3 minutes before I get there. That way it is ready when I arrive. For the stores you have to go inside for, using the app let's you make a ridiculous order without having to verbalize it, use the app to get points and pay without interacting. It isn't technically a ton faster though.
It's designed for you to not have to wait in line, not for your food to be waiting on you when you get there. But you still shouldn't see people getting your food that ordered after you checked in, unless you ordered something like a custom salad.
Pull up to the drive thru window and "would you like a free frozen strawberry lemonade?" Sure, why not.
My CFA doesn't appear to offer honey roasted BBQ anymore. Need a new condiment for the spicy sandwich.
