I'm curious how much of this behavior by D'Elia extends beyond borderline underage girls. The way it's presented makes it look like he was seeking specifically young girls, but is there any chance he was casting a wide net and catching whatever he could, and a portion of those were 17 year old girls? That there are tens or hundreds of 26 year olds who have a similar story about him creeping on their social media. We are going back, how far, 10 or 12 years? A comedian on the road every weekend, I'd imagine possibly this was something he'd do regularly. Hit up social media to find chicks who wanted to hang out. (i.e. fuck). We are seeing screenshots of actual interactions, but maybe he sent out 20 DMs that night to any girl he saw that looked cute. If that were the case, it doesn't exactly excuse the behavior. The creep factor is still on high. But it may not be that he's trying to fuck minors, which I guess makes it a little less bad.

The other somewhat unrelated thing Schaub has talked about that shocked me was he said recently that he drinks a bottle of whiskey before/during/after every show. He's a big guy, but yikes. And he does this regularly apparently.
The thing about Joey Diaz is that he never has tried to hide the horrible things he has done. It’s almost admirable that he doesn’t try to hide his past or put out a squeaky clean image considering doing so would/would’ve helped his career. that said I stopped checking out his podcast a long time ago because you get to the point where it’s hard to give your time to someone you know was and potentially still is a bad person. that said, that said, it’s also hard to say “gotcha” to a guy who freely “gotchas” themself. If anyone unfamiliar with the guy listened to any podcast he’s been on they'd realize there are almost too many cancellable offenses to keep track of. all that’s to say if you are surprised by stuff coming out about Joey Diaz, you just haven’t been paying attention. That doesn’t make what he has done okay.
