As long as the physical differences between players/participants doesn't lead to any increase in danger/injury, who cares (and I can't think of any scenarios where this would apply)? I have to imagine the *only* people that care about the sanctity of women's sports are the parents that get thrown out of little league games by harassing umpires.
They're competing for college scholarships made available to them by progressive legislation protecting their equivalent access rights. They just want to close the door behind them.
I would love to see some data around how many trans-athletes are taking scholarships slotted for "women". I can't imagine it's a lot! Most likely the biggest problem is society has structured itself around having only two genders, and that should change. Bathrooms should be unisex, sports competitions should be open to any person with the skills to compete, and people shouldn't be dehumanized for being born the way they are. Big ask though.
True. Not every trans athlete is automatically a good athlete who wants to pursue a sport in college. If a college gives 10 scholarships for a sport — 5 for men’s and 5 for women’s, and trans athletes now receive 2 of the women’s scholarships, it isn’t surprising that a genetically female athlete, advocate, etc would want to discuss the situation. It’s an issue with the system as you suggested.

Yeah they really had it rough like this generation. With their $2k/year tuition, high college acceptance rates, affordable housing, secure jobs with pensions, all of which lead them the ability to build wealth and provide for their families. And now their only goal is to hoard it all for themselves while all those things have either skyrocketed to be unaffordable or straight up don't even exist. Education brings society up as a whole but the highly educated folks on one side of the aisle are convincing half the country that education is woke, elitist, grooming, etc. Fuck every single person against relieving student debt or making college affordable or free.

To circle back on this because I forgot to answer part. I think it would go great. Citizens wouldn’t be in mountains of debt because we got sold a lie on how important a college degree is. Citizens would be able to advance/improve themselves on an individual basis and likely professionally. But hey, let’s keep the status quo because a chunk of people wouldn’t like it despite the fact it would benefit them as well.
