I want to be abundantly clear here, 10nmol/l of total serum testosterone is not a level equal to a healthy functioning cis-male. That is a female or a male with extreme hypogonadism. The ability to build any type of muscle equal to that of a male competitor is impossible.

At an average 1,500 student high school how many trans kids would you have on avg? Of that population how many play sports and of those how many are particularly good? It feels odd to make this a big deal when you're talking about .01% of the actual population who would maybe bump a girl from varsity to jv and near 0% who would theoretically take a fractional scholarship most female college athletes get

 

p sure mine was measured at like 4 at my last blood work. my body doesn’t even really produce testosterone anymore

like, i walked on with a nick saban football team. i’ve got a really good sense of what being athletic and strong is. the physiological changes i’ve undergone already are honestly mind blowing. most of my muscle mass has completely disappeared and i genuinely feel much weaker.

so just like other instances, men with no relevant lived experiences and no skin in the game want to decide what women get to do with their bodies and their lives.

I think we're on the same side of this argument, so I'm not really sure why you are hung up here. I'm not saying there's no separate teams for men or women, I'm saying that in some situations forcing a breakdown by gender isn't necessary or needed. What I think is a good idea is to give all kids the opportunity to participate at a level they can, and have fun. What I'm against is using sports, which should be a fun escape, as tool to further subjugate at risk populations
