Press conferences suck. One-on-ones after press conferences or after practice is when you get the good stuff.
Clay and Megyn are just mad cause a woman, who is also a POC, is using her power. I like Naomi a lot, and am glad she’s standing up. She has a great point that nobody cares about her mental health, the media/most of the public just want to know why she lost.
The media is evil when it comes to the left, but how dare some uppity negroes not speak to me is the best way to think about it.
There's no way in hell you can be a sports fan for decades and not accidentally come across a post game conference. They're usually dumb and a waste of time, but it's laughable to say you never seen one. If you habitually watch March Madness, basketball playoffs, other events where a ton of games ar happening simultaneously, you'd have been forced into watching one they cut into for whatever reason.
I read it as "Never sat down and watched one." I can't say that, I have watched some post title Bama ones, but I don't find it impossible impossible think someone has never done it.
And even if you never watch them, you cannot follow sports on even a casual level without seeing the quotes from those press conferences or media availability stuff on social media, in post game recaps, or other stories those quotes create.
Yes, but I'm not some weirdo that scrambles for the remote if Inside the NBA cuts to a Rick Carlisle presser for a minute or two
I didn't read anyone as saying that. I read it as them saying they'd never sat down and watched one, as in paid attention to one, not that they'd never seen one. There's a difference. I can leave it on the channel while I start to TMB after a game and not pay attention to the TV at all.
I watched a lot of live press conferences of bert when we got blown out by 40+ we were always very close
The only joy I get as a Husker fan is listening to the post game presser and call in show after with grown men in tears.
I can't believe the call in shows are still a thing. When Mark Richt was kind of on his way out all kinds of lunatics would call in and drag him over random dumb shit.
that isn’t really siting down and watching one. When that happens I switch the channel. But, they doesn’t answer my question. What does my post count have to do with me saying I’ve never watched a press conference.
the claim is I’ve never sat down and watched a post game press conference. IDK why that’s odd. His reply is “you have 80000 posts on message board so obviously you have”. They aren’t something i am interested in.
this started with the talk about the woman who doesn’t want to talk to the media. My comment was I have never watched a post game press conference. I have never sat down and watched one. I’ll change the channel because it’s not something I’m interested. It’s like changing the channel when a commercial comes on. I didn’t think it was going to be controversial comment. I’ve seen the AI “practice”video or “we are who we thought we were” or “playoffs” press conference clips. But, watching a clip of a press conference on sports center isn’t what I consider watching a press conference.
It indicates a deeper-than-average investment in time and energy spent on sports, which is why I find it hard to believe you've never watched a press conference. You've since clarified that you've watched a press conference, but you've never intentionally set aside a part of your day to "watch" a press conference, so we can disregard my original comment.
ive watched clips of press conferences on sports news shows. I’ve never made time to watch a press conference. Saying watching a clip means I’ve watched one is like saying I’ve watched real housewives of anywhere because I’ve seen a commercial for it. They just showed a clip of Hannity does that mean I watch Fox News?
this is a dumb debate but in this example it would be you saying you've never seen or listened to hannity even if you have seen clips of him i think that was what TAS originally said idk
I'm not proud of it, but I watch the shit out of the local postgame shows that feature the locker room interviews and press conferences. especially after big wins.
I saw highlights of the Marlins/Nats game last night but I didn't watch the game. Being aware something exists and seeing it passively in highlights is not the same as sitting down to actively watch something.
this started with the discussion of Osaka not wanting to talk to the media. I made a throw away comment about not watching a press conference. Saying I’ve never watched Hannity (because I have never watched his show) isn’t the same as saying I’ve never seen Hannity or seen a clip of him. I watch last week tonight every week. I’ve seen more clips of Tucker that I care to remember but I will stil say I’ve never watched Tucker. I never claimed to never watching a clip of a press conference. I said I’ve never watched a post game press conference.
I watch pretty much every Brian Snitker post game press conference because I guess I just really hate myself.
tegg is insane because you really need to watch one since he does the same thing every night. snit does something dumb. reporter asks a softball question about the loss. snit replies "well it was just one of those nights". my blood pressure continues to creep up. rinse and repeat
Daniel Ocean we should be getting a Bucks championship post game press conference soon if you want to pop your cherry
