any paper with Gene Sapakoff is anything but friendly to Clemson.
So Crawford (a SCar fanboy) and Sapakoff (a known hack who has tried this before with the Cory Fuller comments) intentionally misrepresents Dabo's comments in an effort to intentionally harm the program...and idiots are buying it? I can tell a bunch of morons just read the headline and not the actual article. Pretty par for the course from our brain trust rivals.
You are awful defensive for someone who has nothing to hide...
Wow, sounds like some Clemson fans need to lay off the roids.
I will come over therw and eat your face bitxh
Clemsonese or the side effects of too much roid usage? Either way you hate to see it.
Fwiw we expect to win the appeals.
Bc we've sent off supplements that we give our players to an independent third party to confirm that the companie(s) that produce them contaminated the products with the banned substance.
It's how all these other suspensions have been beaten
Because there are approximately 60 supplements currently on store shelves which contain ostarine; and multiple cases of cross contamination with ostarine at various co-packers. As long as we can prove the use was accidental and not intentional, then we the players will be cleared.
Isn’t the PED use accidental in almost all of the cases? Will Grier accidentally took a banned substance as well.
Or did he?
I think our hope comes from Alonzo Trier, an Arizona basketball player who got in trouble using ostarine but was able to convince the NCAA it was in a contaminated sports drink.
Violation of team rules...
...became violation of NCAA rules three days later...
I see. Your post read as if the Bama players were suspended for roids. That could be the case, but it'd be news to us. We still don't know why they were suspended.
I thought Clemson controlled all media in SC. This is good to hear
First, he may want to figure out how to not blow SECCGs.
Why are you so mad? FSU has more problems than this...
Based on timing, I think literally everyone outside of Bama fans assumed it was failed drug testing.
Of course it was. Bama just doesn't release that info
Our 2 pt loss should’ve been overturned based upon the horrible touchback blown call but after seeing this egregious PED violation we should be given an outright W.
Drugs maybe. PEDs carry a one year NCAA suspension. They were only suspended 6 games.
Well PEDs are an automatic one year/season suspension per the NCAA.
So whatever substance is a half season suspension seems likely.
Maybe if we didn't have a shark fucking head coach who was more concerned with his shitty bbq sauce instead of helping players, he could have appealed to do something about it.
Drugs, sure. Roids? Nothing suggests that.
I've read that they test for weed during the playoffs. That lines up more with what we've heard than does roids.
Yeah, they were eating shrooms to prepare for the combine
Or smoking weed.
Sure you did
Drinking early today, I see.
Depends on the suspension. All NCAA suspensions are based on % of season. PEDs are 100% of one season, including postseason. Then all others are 25% or 50%.
Sounds like your guys got 50%, but I don’t know exactly what violation constitutes that. We may never find out because the school controls the messaging at that point.
So 50% leads to a logical conclusion that it wasnt roids. Glad we agree.
Well has it been released that it’s 6 games? The first I’m hearing of it is your post.
All I know is based on Saban’s switch from “team rules” to “NCAA rules” and the Clemson stuff happening at the same time, everyone in the media and CFB twitter jumped to the conclusion of steroids. Could be totally unfair to the players if it’s not the case, but based on the timelines and messaging, it was also a natural reaction.
They missed 2 games last year and are appealing the additional 4 games.
I get why people jumped to that conclusion, but the NCAA tests for more than droids during the playoffs.
Well sure. It’s a general test. Whatever they find, they find. It’s not a series of specific tests for specific substances.
So it's silly to have assumed roids based on the Clemson players.
Except it isn’t based on the timeline and Saban’s caginess about it.
Everyone is going to assume the worst when you aren’t transparent, fair or not.
If not for the Clemson players being positive for roids, nobody would have assumed roids for the Bama players.
Darren Carrington II tested positive for weed between the semi-final and the final and got 6 games.
It's dblplay1212 world renowned asshat. Let it go bruh
Team dbl on this, Clemson guys are being defensive and weird
Sounds just like Brown.
Time typically isn’t kind to this position...
This dates back to him playing devil’s advocate for Jerry Sandusky
Bama: these are not the droids you’re looking for.
Let's not throw all Clemson fans under the bus here.
