https://www.fifa.com/en/tournaments/mens/club-world-cup/usa-2025/articles/stadium-guide-venues-named Can only imagine how much they're going to be charging us swine for tickets. Edit: dates are 6/15-7/13 2025.
All the promoters have figured out via the summer series stuff and Copa over the last 4-5 years that folks living in North America will pay multiples of anybody else in the world for tickets and fill stadiums. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s between Saudi and the U.S. every other edition. If they can’t have a super league, they are going to have this super league tournament to fill their pockets. Also going to wreck these teams injury wise even further. I am not sure how Prem teams will have a preseason or rest at all. Would be 30 days between the final and MW1 in 2025.
I will be watching this tournament with the enthusiasm I usually reserve for the international Champions cup
The opening game is at Hard Rock so of course they’re getting in. Now I just wait for it to be vs Chelsea so I can pay $1500 for nose bleed tickets
The fact that FIFA is forcing teams to bring their premier rosters is hilariously transparent. Rodri, while an annoying dildo on the pitch, is right. They should go on strike.
'your tournament is nothing more than superfluous cash grab and nobody wants it' cordially, -the guy who moved the Spanish Super Cup to Mecca
Haven’t been following this much but good lord what a mess. No broadcasters, sponsors yet, FIFPRO lawsuit, and conflicts with non-UEFA seasons? https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...anni-infantino-fifa-tournament-expansion-2025
They were expecting a $4 billion bid from a global streamer lol. But will certainly be interesting to see if one of Apple, Netflix, Amazon, Google offer ridiculous money for the men’s or women’s future WC rights that the likes of Disney, Fox, just have to walk away from. FIFA is selling the next women’s and men’s packages separate for the first time.
I didn’t even sign up for CCC tickets. Messi in sold out Arrowhead in perfect May weather, yes please. $150 to watch him sit on the bench in 15 degree weather at CMP, no thank you.
LAFC were runners up so you’d think they’d get the spot but my guess is MX is having a tizzy about losing a spot.
Which is weird because Leon earned their way into the CWC. So if gonna let them in regardless of ownership, just reward them, but Infantino gonna Infantino.
They’re building stands at one of our fields for a team to use them to train for the CWC. I have a picture but it won’t upload. I’ve been told it’s Real Madrid coming to use our fields and several other big clubs spread out around this area
what part of FL are you in? Madrid's first match is in Miami and they almost always arrive a few days early and hold at least 1 training/fan session when playing here in the US
As an eagle-eyed reader points out, the game is June 26, not June 20…— Jonathan Tannenwald (@jtannenwald.bsky.social) 2025-05-14T21:13:08.035Z
https://www.wptv.com/news/palm-beac...me-one-of-the-worlds-most-famous-soccer-clubs tldr all training sessions closed to the public
my brother is a cop in the Boca area (fuck him Blue Lives aren’t a thing) and is doing security for City while they’re staying in the area and practicing at some tiny ass liberal arts college
So my wife and daughter are not going to the Philadelphia Chelsea vs Flamengo game. I have 2 tickets at face value if anyone is interested. 100 level seats. DM if interested
checked the prices for a Charlotte game and it is ridiculous, probably can get a better deal at the Champions League Final. wonder how turnout will be for these games.
Signed up for a free DAZN account. Theyre showing tomorrow nights play in (LAFC vs Club America) for free, along with all of the Club WC
Man, I used to love the Max and Herc podcast. Only English show that focused on both MLS/MX. Now Hercs the worst and Maximilliano is a caricature.
