Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | Where Relegation Happens | v Man City * * * Kightly to undergo surgery. He's been sidelined for 11 months now. The good news is that Jarvis and Hunt have stepped up in his absence. The bad news is that Kightly led the championship in assists 2 seasons ago and has not had the opportunity to make an impact in the premiership. This is the kind of playmaker Wolves currently lacks and are hoping Jarvis can be.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | Where Relegation Happens | v Man City * * * Yea I know you guys are partial to Wolves because they pose no viable threat other than the occasional shock draw against a big club. I don't know how the baggies are doing it but I don't think Di Matteo will be there for long. He's had a hell of a track record in 2 years of coaching.

Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | Where Relegation Happens | v Man City * * * Good man, Nittany. We needed that win in the worst way.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | Where Relegation Happens | v Man City * * * 24' 0-1 Adebayor 31' 1-1 Milijas 58' 2-1 Edwards Wolves don't go anywhere in the table, but with 1 more win, could find themselves halfway up the table. Edwards picked up his first goal in 14 months. Jarvis appears to be putting together a resume for an England call-up. Next up: @Old Trafford
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | W v. Man City 2:1 | 11/6 @Man United * * * It's never good when the Wolves are the highlight of your sporting weekend, but at least it was well deserved. I laughed at all the "Jarvis call up" talk at first, but he keeps putting up great performances. Having him and Hunt on the wings and Milijas in the midfield, our 4-5-1 actually has some attacking prowess this year. Sucks to hear about Kightly though. He seems to have acquired Kieran Dyer syndrome. I didn't hear that it'd be a 11 month rehab though; I heard that he may be back by the end of January.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | W v. Man City 2:1 | 11/6 @Man United * * * Has he not been out for ~ the last 11 months? He's supposed to be back in January and Mick is ready to part ways with him if he isn't ready. It sucks because he led the Championship in assists 2 or 3 seasons ago and we badly need him right now.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | W v. Man City 2:1 | 11/6 @Man United * * * Sorry, I thought I read that he'd be out another 11 months. You're right it's getting close to a full year now.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | L v. Arsenal 0:2 | 11/13 v. Bolton * * * I look at the last 4 games as a good thing for this squad. I thought an average result would be pulling 2 or 3 points away from that stretch. They were able to beat Man City, came close to a draw at Old Trafford, and outplayed Chelsea and Arsenal for 88 minutes really. They lacked the firepower to actually put in goals but created plenty of chances and the midfield really shined in the last month. The main things they need to improve on are finishing games. The last minute goals need to stop. The good news is that there are some very winnable games in the next few rounds. Sat. 13 10:00 AM ET Wolverhampton Wanderers v Bolton Wanderers Molineux Stadium Sat. 20 10:00 AM ET Blackpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers Bloomfield Road Sat. 27 10:00 AM ET Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sunderland Molineux Stadium Sat. 4 10:00 AM ET Blackburn Rovers v Wolverhampton Wanderers Ewood Park Sun. 12 8:30 AM ET Wolverhampton Wanderers v Birmingham Molineux Stadium Sun. 19 7:00 AM ET West Bromwich Albion v Wolverhampton Wanderers The Hawthorns Sun. 26 10:00 AM ET Wolverhampton Wanderers v Wigan Athletic Molineux Stadium That stretch of games is going to make or break this squad. With 4 home games and 3 of the easiest away games they're going to get this year, anything less than 12 points is going to cement them into a relegation battle the rest of the season. I think 15 points is a good goal to set for themselves here. I really hope they can climb up to around 12-14 in the table by the time January rolls around.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | L v. Arsenal 0:2 | 11/13 v. Bolton * * * Wolves are down 1-0 off an own goal. :curses: In the first fucking minute.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | L v. Arsenal 0:2 | 11/13 v. Bolton * * * Wolves win off a 90' miracle from Ebanks-Blake. Still tied with West Ham for dead last, but within striking distance of survival. Next week, the lads head to Blackburn for another very winnable game. Especially with the Rovers coming off a 7-1 shellacking at the hands of Dracula.
Re: * * * Official Wolves FC Thread | L v. Arsenal 0:2 | 11/13 v. Bolton * * * Great win today. Foley has really improved since we came up, and I really like SEB off the bench as a late attacking option. If we can somehow creep out of the relegation zone by Christmas, I like our chances to stay up.

Re: * Official Wolves FC Thread | Where Relegation Happens | W v. Sunderland 3:2 * clutch catch by user NK sucks pre, 3 goals is like at least 5 games worth for Wolves g'luck buddy
Re: * Official Wolves FC Thread | Where Relegation Happens | W v. Sunderland 3:2 * Edwards has declared himself fit for Saturday, which is good because we've only got about 2-3 center mids left with Henry, Guediora, Jones, and possibly Mancienne out.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Mick McCarthy exposes himself and Ian Holloway makes a shameful confession!
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Hennessey Zubar Stearman Berra Elokobi Foley Edwards Milijas Ward Hunt Ebanks-Blake Subs: Hahnemann, Mujangi Bia, Fletcher, Ebanks-Landall, Winnall, Rooney, Doherty Thinnest side I've ever seen, and we still don't get Fletcher in the squad. Rumors are that he's going to ask out at the transfer window, and I can't blame him to be honest.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Wolves 1 - Birmingham 0! Unbelievable that we were finally able to keep a clean sheet with Zubar and Berra visibly limping for the last 30 minutes. Stearman had his best game at Wolves, and Ebanks-Blake worked his balls off and created the goal for Hunt. Kevin Phillips (is a wanker! is a wanker!) came on for the Blues and missed a golden opportunity to extend his goal scoring record against Wolves to 11 in 16 appearances. One point from safety with the Baggies at the Hawthornes next week. Hopefully we can get healthier by then and at least get a point.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Hey guys looks like you are getting Johnson from us on loan in the winter window.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** You guys are getting Johnson on loan from us once the winter window opens. Michael not Adam. He is a damn good player that has not been healthy the last couple of years.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Ah, alright, makes a lot more sense than Adam actually. I would've rather had Lescott, but we definitely need more live bodies.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Yeah he is a solid midfielder that can create so it will be interesting to see how he does there. Not sure on Lescott moving or not. It varies from week to week.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** I don't think we can afford him, even on loan, so I think it's a moot point unless y'all subsidize a lot of the salary.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Yeah we have said that we are not subsidizing any salaries.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Mick says Henry could be back in the squad by Boxing Day.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Apparently we're interested in signing Robbie Findley during the transfer window, providing he passes a fitness test and can obtain a work permit. I like the idea of adding some speed to our attack, but we waste so many chances as is, can we afford to take a chance on someone who is notorious for being erratic?
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** I would go from feeling sorry for Wolves to laughing at them for their stupidity. I guess hope he has success in the Championship.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** I doubt he'd get much playing time over Doyle, Fletcher, and Ebanks-Blake at striker and Jarvis, Hunt, and Kightly () on the wing. Is he not even worth the depth signing? I can't remember watching him play for the USMNT.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** He is completely worthless. He is worse than what Theo Walcott doubters used to think Theo was
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** That's the picture I had in my head. if he's cheap and only used as depth, I don't mind it, but I hope it's not the only move we're planning. We need a serviceable centre half and a left back like nobody's business.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** And plus he'll probably get injured during his first appearance, especially if by some miracle y'all stay up.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** We're one point from safety, we've had no luck with injuries, but look to be getting most of our players back, and we've hit more bars than Melky Cabrera. Why is it such a foregone conclusion that we'll go down?
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** IDK maybe that's just based on what I hear from the other MB Wolves fan every night. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for y'all to stay up and somehow Tottenheim to get relegated.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Okay, sorry for coming off like a pissed off homer, but I really think we've got a good shot of staying up. We've been a much better attacking side than we were last year (already matched our home goal total IIRC), and maybe with a healthy/rejuvenated back four, we'll start pulling out more results in these games where we've been so close in the first half (late goals by Fulham, Tottenham, Villa and United, dominating the chances against Arsenal, but not breaking through, etc.)
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** I say this to Pre a lot, but I still have no clue how y'all didn't score in the Arsenal match.
Still baffles me. I'd put it at about 35% that we stay up at this point. 2 wins puts us middle of the table for the most part. Couple that with the amount of parity in the league and we could just as easily see Blackpool fall from grace. I think a couple of solid signings for the back line and the return of Kightly and Henry can make all the difference in the world. Our keeper play has been better than most think. The lack of goals is killing us as well as the first 5 minutes of the game.
Re: *** Official Wolves FC Thread | Jelle van Damme is a faggot *** Still have not heard if the loan deal for MJ is done or not.
