Looks like usps lost my order and now they're out of this one. Looking for a fruit bomb...have you tried their watermelon, by any chance?
Today’s Bold Bean drop is great. Had it last year. I use it for espresso fyi Bold Bean Coffee Roasters: the season calls for sweetness, warmth and nostalgia and this is why it feels like perfect timing for La Pia to be back in our lineup. this is one of our all-time returning favorites - on both sides of the bar. this super chocolatey, caramel apple, pecan brittle profile is for those that just want a solid, non-fruit forward, classic cup. a coffee that belongs in a thick mug, in a rocking chair, on a porch overlooking the mountains. order today, we'll ship tomorrow. shipping is $5 flat rate or free on anything over $50. text your choice to order: A) 10 oz / Whole Bean ($19.00) B) 2 lb / Whole Bean ($57.00) C) 5 lb / Whole Bean ($125.00)
Fuck yeah. I like the apple more but it's a bit more intense, so ymmv. Don't forget the discount code of Redditor15Off. Also if you didn't see, you can add 1 free sample of anything from one of dropdowns
Didn’t pay attention but will next time. This is one of the more balanced co-fermentation lots I’ve had.
Bit of a crossover of hobbies for me… Let’s see who the most committed is to the craft https://www.brew-watches.com/products/metric-digital-blend
I think the first thing I used my Apple Watch for when I got it last year was “hey siri- what’s 16 times 24” as I began to bloom
At a small little roaster in Costa Rica. I noticed cafe Britt seems to be the “big” roaster here judging from souvinear shops
Had an order that usps claimed was delivered about 10 days ago that never came. B&W resent the order and that came a few days ago. I'll be damned if that original fucker didn't show up today. I'm stocked, fellas
I wish that would happen to me. My bold bean shipment was lost but fortunately they had enough to send me a replacement bag.
ok. Just got another offer. $200 fellow gift card and $100 free coffee. really thinking of pulling the trigger. hesitant without reviews but fellow has great rep
Don’t have mine yet. Soon hopefully, They stand by their shit… had one of their vacuum canisters stop holding a seal after a few years & reached out to buy a replacement lid. They just sent me a new canister.
Let me know if it happens and / or run into issues. I’ve built a pretty good rapport with them & live blocks away
My wife got me the onyx advent calendar. 56 grams per day is a ton of coffee but I'm up to the challenge
Been sipping my way through Thailand the past 10 days. The last three mornings have been at a spot called Sarnies. Talked with the roaster for a while. In love with some of the chiang rai beans I’ve had. Bringing a couple bags home. https://maps.app.goo.gl/YaBs7f8xEdsuFWSNA?g_st=ipc
Saw the Hoffman Ceado hoop review and bought it on a whim for my work setup. Now that I've been thrust into an in-person schedule with an open floor plan with a dark roast lavazza super auto jail, needed something that was still decent without all the faff. Next step is to bring some water testing strips and tds meter to check if I can rely on the hot water at work or if I need a portable kettle..
They are great. Delivery pushed out until February/March now. Think we’re going to use our credit on an Ode grinder.

Coffee Bros, I need to gear up & your help - In anticipation of my Fellow Espresso machine arriving. Wife will almost exclusively be drinking milk-drinks, and straight pulls for myself. Appears to come with the basics: Portafilter Tamper steaming pitcher double shot basket - single & pressurized Current Gear: Baratza Virtuoso+ Acaia Peal S Scale Planning on upgrading my grinder - considering Sette 270wi or Niche Duo (with both burr sets) - open to suggestions... no real budget, but prefer something capable of quality espresso & pour over grinds. What else should I grab - Any other Missing accessories or helpful upgrades to the pieces that come with the kit?
You might need to upgrade the tamper - I'd research what comes in the kit. Other things: Wdt tool Photography bulb to clean the grinder Tamper stations make the process a little more enjoyable
I have and like the normcore spring loaded tamper, but I really only dabble in espresso so maybe someone else has a better option
I have the Sette 270 and it’s great once dialed in. I had to install a shim as it would not grind fine enough but I believe it comes with the grinder. I weigh my beans and dump them in the top. Look at the option that will dispense into porta filter and weigh automatically. It is noisy. Definitely find a station for tamping and knock block to empty pucks.
Has anyone tried one of the sensory mugs for coffee (origami, twoway, etc)? Was curious if they were worth picking up
Buddy just got a Profitec Jump and eureka mignon. Some great prices out there right now. Really wants to make me pull the trigger. Meanwhile, I finally broke open the juicy hazy ipa beans from B&W. Incredibly funky. Love them.
I used the instant coffees from Black and White while camping this weekend. They were awesome and easy. Not going to buy them for regular use but perfect for traveling and camping to make it easy.
