Tough choice there. Go play for a blue blood with multiple championsips under a Hall of fame coach or go play for a team that has diarrhea on their court and plays on the west coast
also anthony named armando bacot as a guy he would like to play with. we have 100% of the crystal balls for bacot. pretty much makes anthony official imo
DJ Carton to Ohio St Holtmann gonna have OSU back in the FF in a couple years comments on Inside the Hall suggest Bama and Memphis lead for Watford. That would be disappointing
What happens to Jeremiah Francis if Cole happens to go with UNC? Would be interesting if UNC drops Francis (despite what has been said publicly) after Carton has committed to OSU.
we don’t drop commits. francis has always been a 3-4 year guy with little expectation to contribute a ton as a freshman (he’ll be behind seventh woods, coby white and leaky black on the depth chart as is) and anthony is a one and done. doesn’t really change anything
most of the picks made on 247 seemed to be for UM so it seems a bit of a surprise. But I guess they had the last visit and Holtmann has incredible year one results to point to from last year PG probably not so much of a need in this class for IU
Arkansas, Florida, and LSU... but he killed it at the Peach Jam and probably inserted himself as a top 10-15 player in the country and is starting to blow up. He told a national guy Arkansas was the only OV he was for sure about right now but we'll see how that develops. We didn't miss a game of his last week.
sounds like we’re about to offer. he’s good friends with nas little and indicated he’d be interested in a serious look if offered. same aau program that produced tony bradley and joel berry sorry babe
duke mods saying that the staff has essentially stopped recruiting armando bacot and that he should end up at unc. also bacot said on instagram live last night that he knows where cole anthony is going. sounds like its definitely unc then sorry everyone
Just glad to see Hoyas listed amongst many top kids. We will have a top 20 class to go with Mackinjo.
If you don’t like college basketball discussion in the college basketball thread, hit ignore and get back to your school sponsored pedo’ing.
srs tho how concerned are yall that he's blowing up a bit? still super early in our recruitment but he seems receptive and the nas connection seems beneficial.
I have no hopes of landing him after his Peach Jam performance. I'm an Arkansas fan and realize we don't get out of state top 50 kids
We had a shot. Had a CB in our favour too. But his jump to top 20 and possibly higher takes Hoyas out. Sounds like a future pro.
Yeah he was the top guy on our board. I'm glad we finally landed his commitment. It seemed like Brandon Knight was making a push for him, and he helps our chances with Sharife Cooper in 2020.
That whole AOT crew visited State a couple of times and our staff loved them. We are just really short on ships and NC is pretty strong in this class so we couldn't really push for them. Might take Okoro a year or 2 before he reaches his potential on offense but he's going to be a very good defender early.
Penny gonna get DJ Jeffries to Memphis? No longer committed to UK http://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...commits-kentucky-wildcats-reopens-recruitment
Gonna flip to Penny at Memphis with James Wiseman. Been rumored for a while at least. UK is recruiting his replacements in Whitney and Allen already, and rumors are that Whitney may commit during his official visit. Jeffries will end up a five star or right on the cusp, but it was always thought he was a take only due to the package deal/connection with Wiseman. Once Penny was hired by Memphis, that pretty much ended that unfortunately for UK.
First one while at UK. Only thing close I can think of is Xavier Henry choosing to flip to Kansas instead of following Cal to UK.
I was at Walmart when it happened then I went out to eat. I just got on my computer like 5 minutes ago.
Good luck to these kids that are going follow penny the next couple of years but I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t flop in a big way.
yeah you just don't get decommits all that often on the basketball side of things, obviously a much cleaner and more civil recruiting landscape
Don't think he's made a decision one way or another but I wouldn't read too much into it. He's had issues with his FW coaches for a while.
