What y'all hearing
Mixed right now. Corey Evans who is really good over at Rivals put in a pick for us. Saw a couple picks come in for you guys tonight.
Crazy, we didn't start hearing much until recently
Riding high on your natty.
Flipped it to fsu last night
fsu, as I said with Cleveland, 5 star wings and guards hate UM for some reason
Real shame Kenny Payne left Calipark to head to the Knicks. No more competent coaches on that bench
I'll never forget having my mind blown when I found out Payne wasn't actually a blown up Keith Bogans on the UK bench
Finally pulled the trigger
Remember when Texas fires Rick Barnes? lol
We were lucky he fell in our lap after going the cheap route after the Pearl debacle with Cuonzo and Tyndall.
Jerry Meyer with the CB for Banchero to Tennessee
Having watched a few of his tapes, Chandler seems like the worst #1 pg prospect in a class in 10+ years. The 2021 class in general seems incredibly weak for NBA prospects.
Recruiting has never been barnes issue, far from it.
Pretty much agree, every time I watch a tape I am underwhelmed. The lack of offers uk and duke have out there says it all in regards to the top end of this class.
He's listed at like 6'0 160, doesn't jump off the page with athleticism, and put up pretty mediocre AAU stats for someone ranked that high. I don't care at all that he committed to UT. It's a good pick up, and he should be in school for at least 2 years. He's just not much of an nba prospect for a #1 pg.
Cade Cunningham, Cole Anthony, Ashton Hagans (or Darius Garland), Collin Sexton, Lonzo Ball (or Markelle Fultz), Ben Simmons, Emmanuel Mudiay. That covers back to 2014. Most of those guys are top 5 draft picks (or at least lottery picks). With Chandler's size, I'll be surprised if he's even a one-and-done and shocked if he's a top 5 draft pick.
And when Chet Holmgren and Patrick Baldwin are the consensus top 2 players in the class, then it's a really shitty class.
I hadn’t really followed Banchero’s recruitment all that closely but what I’m reading is this Duke commitment kinda came out of nowhere, wasn’t any momentum towards Duke and basically no one was predicting/picking Duke.
Is K more addicted to cheating or hair dye?
His heart is almost as dark as his hair
Didn't even know um was recruiting him but great now juwan can be 0-20 as opposed to 0-19 of 5 star recruits he makes the final list for
Hadn’t heard of this guy until like yesterday but I’ll take it
Harrison Ingram to Stanford soon
Adam Cohen is pretty great there

Yall heard anything on Caleb Houstan? There's been a lot of momentum and smoke on our side of things the past 2 weeks
He looks sharp in that dark blue.
I have no idea.
Nothing, hadn’t even heard of the kid until today.
One um basketball insider said he heard today that UM leads but um never gets these kids. Juwan is batting about 0-20 for top 40 kids that put um their final group. He’s continuing the beilein top 30 recruiting percentage just with more prospects.
Heard about him, close with RJ Barrett. Don’t know how good he is
Yeah we kind of have a Canadian pipeline going right now. Landd two guys last year Keon Ambrose and Josh Primo who was a 5 star in this class before reclassifying up a year. This year we look good on landing Charles Bediako and now it seems like Caleb Houstan might be leaning our way as well. Canada has treated us well and might give us 3 5 stars. All those guys played on team Canada together and three of them played on the same high school team.
I figured you guys were the least likely. With yall looking good for Patrick Baldwin and already have Banchero committed I figured yall might not have room and that Houstan was a contingency plan in case you miss on Baldwin
Good to see Bama stepping up and paying basketball recruits to try to be good
SF or PF ?
We'll be taking in-stater Barry Dunning from you guys next year as well
Depends on who you ask I think Houstan is more of a SF but I think he can certainly play and be considered as both
We’ve got AJ Griffin committed so idk. It wouldn’t hurt if he commits to us
I just read we made his top 4
We're all in on Scoota
