Mueller passed Kendall Coyne Schofield who held the previous record at 20." Gwyneth Phillips starting in goal after losing Aerin Frankel to graduation. I don’t know why they even bother ranking teams from Eastern hockey conferences. Top 10 should be B1G, NCHC and Mankato. Maybe Quinnipiac at 10. I don’t really know them or Northeastern but the Eastern powers have been down for years and won’t just flip a switch with the coaching changes. UMN women beat Mankato St 11-0. I don’t know if we are back to champion caliber or if they are that bad but 11-0 feels like a score in Mites. Gopher men split with Mankato last week. Their goalie made some great saves in game 2. We host North Dakota next week. I love that hockey doesn’t do cupcake ooc schedules.
