SCSU has a very good shot this year. Solid team and they have a nasty power play. UND is 1-4-1 in the shithole that is the Target Center. Good news/bad news for me....UND is in Cincy next weekend instead of St. Paul so I won't be there but I like our bracket compared to St. Cloud's!
@jimmyconnelly 8m8 minutes ago Multiple sources confirm @NotreDame men's hockey will depart @hockey_east for @bigten. More to come. Won't take effect til 17-18 season.
I am going to go with UND vs. St. Cloud in one semifinal and UMD vs. Quinnipiac in the other. #NCHCstrong
Our top goalie, who was set to be the starter next year, just signed his pro contact and won't be back next year. My dreams of us taking another step forward are in rooins.
I had forgotten about the WCHA's flub. A former co-worker/UND fan emailed me an article celebrating the 10th anniversary of Holy Cross vs. Minnesota. The poster was linked in the article about why people hate Minnesota.
Ha. I remember walking in, getting handed the rolled up poster, looking at for about 1 second and throwing it on the floor with the 1000's of others already there.
Taking my boy to the northeast regional tomorrow. Very excited to sit through back to back games with a 6 year old listening to him break down the intricacies of the 2 line pass and why you always go high on the stick side
Just wait till you start getting commitments from projected top 10 picks and then they decide to play juniors instead of enroll at the last minute. Really helps out the ole recruiting class.
Especially when they are future NHL goalies and your coach is counting on them to start every game for the next three years.
The Caggiula Boeser Schmaltz line is absolutely filthy. Check out @NCAAIceHockey's Tweet: https://twitter.com/NCAAIceHockey/status/713460001952690177?s=09
Didn't watch the 3rd period + ot but followed online. Though way to go. Good luck Michigan against the other und
Wow. 18 seconds in to OT and SCSU goes down. It kind of reminds me of Yale beating Minnesota a few years ago before I even sat down to watch OT.
He was a Gopher last week and technically still a student graduating this spring from Carlson School of Management (in 3 years).
