Tumpkin stuff is poorly timed, no doubt about that. But... We can bring on a DC now without being concerned about his feels. We Most recent hires from Mac and George have been solid, so I like the odds there. Certainly a more marketable position today than it was two years ago.
Can't see Tumpkin being retained regardless of the outcome of the investigation. Don't think HCMM would stand for that on his staff. Also was told that RG went off on HCMM after the Alamo Bowl for not being prepared and keeping Sefo in. Not sure if that's RG's place to talk to the HC about player decisions, however.
RG was just saying what we all were thinking. HCMM's loyalty might be his downfall. Hope the recruiting class doesn't crumble.
