Bey is an animal. If that man can consistently hit an NBA three, he will be a huge asset for a playoff team. His range was decent last year, and someone is going to believe in his ability to guard 1-4, he just needs to stretch the shot out a hair and will be a damn solid NBA player. Am I sold on him as a leader? Nope, but that will not matter because he is going to be a 4th option on the court who will (hopefully) hit open buckets, grab blocks/steals/rebs, and be able to switch all over the place.
He’s definitely a beast, but all I can think about is him mailing it in on D last season when we went down the shitter.
Let me rephrase... You know what 2020 has done? Sucked a lot of joy out of things I used to look forward to (including sports). I follow CU less closely as the years have gone by and 2020 seems to be the nail in that coffin for now.
Thoughts on the depth chart: Broussard: Hagan was not joking. Like the depth here, even if there is no star WR could really be something, if Noyer can get them the ball Lloyd Murray at #2 NT is not something I expected, but I will take hit. Trying to be optimistic about QB -- new coaching staff gets the benefit of picking the best player (fresh start yada yada), I do think he is the better runner of the two... but there is zero game evidence that he is going to make it happen.
I'm excited to see Jarek and Hagan dropping the Speedy comparison got my ears perked up. Re-watched his HS clips tonight since it's been awhile since we've seen him but there was alot of good stuff there. WR room is loaded. Need Arias to become the rumors we've always heard about him. TBH Nixon should've just left. Give me a Arias/Rice/Miller pairing in the red zone please. DL being primarily 1 gap should be a nice change of pace. Probably why the space eaters got passed up. Pell has gotten huge. Secondary will be interesting. Lewis concerns me because he usually got clowned on. Gonzo's career will be fun to follow I like the youthfulness overall. QBs are fucking scary. Chev as OC is fucking scary. Those 2 areas worry me the most.
