Meatball has been watching for the first time He’s been watching independently but every now and then I’ll catch a couple with him. He’s up to S4 and the Sophie B. Hawkins dance…can’t wait for GI Jeff
As I stated before I always end the day by watching a couple of episodes of a comedy so no matter how shitty my day was I’ll end it with a laugh. Currently it’s Community and I just watched Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. Taking this episode off streaming services is so fucking stupid. It’s the perfect example of over correcting. It’s an anti bullying and shines a light on suicidal ideation without being too preachy. It’s a damn shame one of the best episodes of television can’t be easily consumed.
It was removed because of the Chang in blackface joke. Which is also an overcorrection, since Chang is supposed to look like a stupid asshole.
crap. I just realized I wrote “taking episodes off streaming services is fucking stupid” when I meant to write “taking this episode off”. I agree with taking some off but this one was clearly not “black face” because ironically he is literally “black” and not attempting to pretend to be POC.
I've watched all seasons of Community multiple multiple times and p sure I've never seen this episode (was very late to the party starting). Will watch very soon
I thought he was edited out of the episode. They are handling it like the N word. Doesn’t matter if you are singing along to a song or using it with malice. It’s just not done.
Put on Hulu and they added Who’s the Boss but don’t feel the need to watch because I definitively know who it is
If Harmon had learned this during the run, he absolutely would have used the joke, maybe with Asian Annie.
Watching the finale of “Friends” and Jim Rash showing up next to Rachel on the plane always cracks me up. “This plane doesn’t have a phalange!?!”
Continuing the rewatch, pleasantly surprised that Peacock has the Dungeons & Dragons episode available, Meatball hasn’t seen this one yet and he’s laughing his ass off
My buddy told me they had that episode and that alone got me to subscribe to Peacock. I hadn't seen that episode in a while.
This has stayed in the cycle with Scrubs & Arrested Development (first 3 seasons) of what we watch before we go to bed. Started s1e1 last night
I'm rewatching the last season paintball episode, which is quite good tbh, and Starburns saying "I'm gonna go get a shovel, because the theater is dead" about Vicki's one woman show killed me
