Take the cape off, No one is telling him to divorce his wife. I'm genuinely curious why she's against it, and what kind of propaganda she ingested to get her this point in her life where clothing is the issue but not the right wing messengers pushing this stuff. Not to mention, he did his damnest to try and twist the entire reason people were coming down on his wife in the first fucking place
The infants being pushed by indoctrination bit has always been like a game of telephone IMO. These individuals rarely have first-hand accounts of this sort of thing happening. But they have wrapped their entire ideology around said story. Straight out of the satanic panic playbook.
I think there are probably more productive conversations that can be had but I know a lot of folks here have a hard on for immediately firing up their torches
People like his wife being opposed to LGTBQ clothing sold in stores is quite literally why the fucking thread exists. What thread did you think you were posting in exactly? This isn't the Bama football thread
There is a big distinction between aggressively going after a users wife vs trying to understand why she has that opinion. I know what thread I’m in. I think Celemo probably forgot what message board he was logged onto when he posted that.
i like celemo so i don't appreciate the hostility however, if you were to direct all the vitriol to Corch i could get behind it
Ok, well my question was a legitimate one. it literally asked for her reasoning for why she opposes it. So explain to me your issue with my questions
again, this patronizing behavior is so goofy he's a grown ass man, he can answer some clarifying questions on a thing HE CHOSE TO SHARE or take some ribbing for coming into a thread mocking the exact thing he sort of admitted to doing
fwiw i wholeheartedly appreciate every cis person who immediately fires up their torch to squash this anti-trans nonsense that is flooding people’s media diet from every angle. “adults can do whatever but keep it away from the children” is not an acceptable middle ground. there are not two sides to this
I woke up this morning, had a big yawn, smiled and said “I hope I get double teamed by Lyrtch and CaneKnight about a political hot button today.”
I mean since this is the LGTBQ thread we can do a different type of double team if you'd prefer that instead
Our child wore pineapples home. Some were upside down. It's def our bad, but we made that kid a swinger at age 72 hours
Hello computer, I would like to press charges against myself for grooming my kids into being Gamecock fans by choosing their clothing for them
As a kid that would wear his mom’s high heels and occasionally play dolls with a female friend that turned out straight I am just one example of a lot of the early stereotype stuff is dumb and how certain clothing isn’t going to trans the kids. There is a lot of shit for kids to figure out before the hormones start going. Would rather engage people from that angle than attack them. That’s all I’ve got left to say, I hope everyone has a great rest of their Tuesday.
Playing with dolls isn't weird. Adults in society just project onto kids what is acceptable as far as boys and girls are concerned and people don't have to fit into such black and white terms. I don't necessarily believe we should crucify people in this thread. But comments like infant grooming or trans/homosexual indoctrination is not an argument in good faith IMO.
Wait, what? Infants declaring themselves trans (or doing anything on the trans realm) is not remotely a thing. I know others have commented but since you quoted me I’ll respond. I’m not sure where your wife (or you) got this from but that source of information is not legitimate in any way, shape or form.
Do we know his new twitter account? Man went from the only lib in his family to yelling at AOC on twitter.
yelling at AU behind a private account that no one can read. IDK, he was autalkinghead on most platforms, but deleted his reddit account and I think make his twitter private once it was discovered here. He either still reads here or One Two sends him notes
she's not generally, her issue is specifically with infant clothing. One specific example as far as I can tell. we don't really discuss who sells what and how she feels about it.
So 2 gay parents can’t buy a onesie for their child? I’m pretty sure wearing a rainbow onesie at 3 months old doesn’t make on gay. Child won’t even remember it lol
Am I being murdered for suggesting a calm conversation more productive than aggressively going after someone or do you mistakenly think I agree with him politically for some reason? I’m honestly confused
People don’t challenge their own conceptions of gender because rigid hierarchies make us believe that things have to be this way and that any sort of change will be the pitfall of our society. Strictly enforced gender norms are nothing more than coercion and domination. Which has been incredibly destructive as far as mental health and self discovery is concerned.
'Kids can't choose don't push agendas on them!" says Karen with her infant in a "Babys for Trump" onesie and cross earrings.
she was told that Target sells infant clothing, specifically onesies that parents can use to conceal/tuck male genitalia if they feel their infant son identifies as something else. So probably, someone gave her misinformation and she ran with it and thought it went a little too far. Like I said I don't pay attention to any of this shit, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised if all of this is bullshit. if it's true and Target makes those clothing items well, i personally don't agree with it, but I haver never pushed my beliefs on anybody. Some of it is laziness and ignorance on my part. All I know is my wife has always disliked Target. One specific instance that I didn't word properly or give enough details and here we are sorting out the results of the Jump to Conclusions mat. I'm sure my long running track record of being the chuddiest shit pit poster west of the Mississippi didn't help my fucking case
