There is a big distinction between aggressively going after a users wife vs trying to understand why she has that opinion. I know what thread I’m in. I think Celemo probably forgot what message board he was logged onto when he posted that.

As a kid that would wear his mom’s high heels and occasionally play dolls with a female friend that turned out straight I am just one example of a lot of the early stereotype stuff is dumb and how certain clothing isn’t going to trans the kids. There is a lot of shit for kids to figure out before the hormones start going. Would rather engage people from that angle than attack them. People don’t challenge their own conceptions of gender because rigid hierarchies make us believe that things have to be this way and that any sort of change will be the pitfall of our society. Strictly enforced gender norms are nothing more than coercion and domination. Which has been incredibly destructive as far as mental health and self discovery is concerned.

she was told that Target sells infant clothing, specifically onesies that parents can use to conceal/tuck male genitalia if they feel their infant son identifies as something else. So probably, someone gave her misinformation and she ran with it and thought it went a little too far. Like I said I don't pay attention to any of this shit, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised if all of this is bullshit. if it's true and Target makes those clothing items well, i personally don't agree with it, but I haver never pushed my beliefs on anybody. Some of it is laziness and ignorance on my part. All I know is my wife has always disliked Target. One specific instance that I didn't word properly or give enough details and here we are sorting out the results of the Jump to Conclusions mat.
