I like Chark and Braden. In the real world holland probably won’t go til at least the 3rd so could probably wait.
According to the Philly Inquirer's Jeff McLane, the Eagles are set to host the Falcons in the 2018 NFL season-opener Sept. 6.
So what’s the consensus? People mad, happy, indifferent? I love Ridley and he’ll certainly help, but I think we had other areas of more pressing concern. Other spots may have been a reach though, and getting potentially the #1 WR in the draft at this spot is good value. I’ll give it a B+
I really like the pick, I have expressed my views on our offensive talent especially the WRs/TEs and it is not pretty. We desperately needed another top talent. I was hoping we could get it via FA and also draft DE but obviously that didn’t happen. Ridley is a better bet (possible best wr) than some random D player.
I’m fone with it I guess. I just don’t love Ridleys athleticism for a first round WR. Great route runner though, should play well inside or out. I guess they didn’t like Bryan (or thought he would just backup Jarrett and we needed a bigger body)
don't really love the pick of Ridley, but he's a good talent. seems odd to spend a first-round draft pick on a guy who will be a #3 wr for you. love the speed and quickness, and think he can work the slot well and maybe outside if he gets a free release. 20 drops in 3 years seems like a something to keep an eye on. How old will he be by the start of the season, 24? maybe he was the best talent available at the time though, and this seems like a bad year for wr.
He will surpass Sanu quickly as the #2 and we need all the help on offense to counter Sark being a shit OC.
