Ryan freaking out like a rookie, and Sark getting real predictable in the RZ. Though that first slant to Julio would’ve likely been a TD if Ryan could’ve gotten it out
Yea and it’s causing him happy feet even on the few times he’s got a clean pocket. I’m fully in on the suckforpicks campaign. Too many holes in the current team to make a run.
Yeah, I mean, not sure how anyone can blame Ryan tonight. We’ve literally whiffed on Rankins 3 times already. Just completely getting whipped on both sides of the LOS
We throw 10 yards down field when we only need 2 yet throw 3 yards down the field when we need 7. This is hard to watch.
Ugh. Stupid. Been killing our run all night long so let’s announce we’re going to try to “run it right at em”. Also, no, you don’t “have to kick it away” here. It’s the less controversial decision bc old-school logic rules all, but you’re a huge road underdog and your D has been getting shredded.
Definitely good call punting on 4th and inches after going for 2 straight 4ths. Always rely on the Falcons D any time you can. Never failed before
So we need to replace about half the defense, the offensive line, and the offensive coordinator this offseason. Fantastic.
It’s a miracle the saints don’t have 50 points. That play summed up this game. 3rd and 14, taking almost the full play clock to throw a 4 yard route to Ridley with only 5 minutes to go when down 21. That’s sark in a nutshell.
Atlanta is a team with good talent that needs to invest in both lines and get their IR folks back. WHen you blow up a team in the NFL it;s always a 3 year rebuilding process.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2807402-the-falcons-are-too-good-to-be-this-bad TLDR summary: -Sark is terrible, predictable and doesn’t adapt at all. Should be fired yesterday. DQ on hot seat -Statistically, Ryan not so good in the 4th quarter -DQ is suppose to be a defensive specialist and the D has continued to be the weakest point on the team -Entire organization has a weak mentality for closing out games.
I’ll be honest. The last 2 seasons I’ve become a DQ hater. Fucker is way too stubborn and I like my coach to be from the offensive side of the ball.
Head coach is a tough job to grade unless you are extremely bad (Hue Jackson) or extremely good (Belichick). Look at Payton and Pederson as an example, Pederson was the next best thing and now the Eagles aren't making the playoffs. NO wanted Payton gone and now they are probably winning the super bowl. Quinn does have a few tendencies that are very alarming... inability to put teams away, losing games in historically bad/memorable fashion, 4th Q collapses/prevent defense at times where it doesn't make sense, his teams in general play dumb, make dumb penalties, he doesn't understand time/TO management, redzone inefficiencies that you could probably tie to the offensive coordinator.
Thats stupid. So teams are allowed to do convoluted, choreographed bullshit but something simple like that is 15 yards. Dumb, NFL. Dumb.
I don't know if they are tanking, but they are definitely mailing it in. Also dunno how anyone could want Coleman over Freeman.
