Take Tony Pollard from Memphis or Ryquell from Temple in the 4th or 5th
Henderson is the guy we want from Memphis or the AAC in general
Iirc Carpenter was solid for the Jets after a slow start to his career in Seattle
Carpenter was really good for the Seahawks before the Jets signed him to a big deal.
Which one is it guys
Jake just wants to be a contrarian
I’m prob wrong
He signed a 3-year $19 million dollar deal with the Jets in ‘15
Nah I remember him playing well with Seattle too. Good signing for us.
I’ll still be irate if we don’t use our first 2 picks on OL and DL in some facsimile
Bet we go DT and CB now
Seems like a great investment
That sounds like a lot of money for the stupidest fucking idea I’ve ever heard
Dude, it’s totally going to be different now that Quinn is back to being the DC.
Starting to think we don’t know what the hell we are doing
Back in Shanahan's offense he's going to crush if he stays healthy
Gross. Not excited about this signing.
3rd RB and return man. Whatever at this point.
It's a steal if sacks are worth $3 million each.
guy was in on the Panthers sale but came up short. Could be a sign of Blanks intentions after he leaves us. Some concern he'd pass the team on to his kids. But ideal world we get the richest guy possible to ensure capital investments into MBS, the surrounding area, the team, etc.
Wilkins? Williams? Ferrell? Ford? Howard?
Wilkins gets my vote
Gary and Simmons are there as well but riskier imo
92.9 saying we have inquired with Detroit about moving up to 8 to get Oliver, giving them 14, 79 and a 2020 3rd.
We should absolutely fire Dimitrof into the sun if he does this.
I’m getting pressed on the pick. Anyone else wanna weigh in? Otherwise, I’ll go Wilkins
Wilkins is better than what dmitroff would do.
But so is Williams..
Well we went Wilkins
I think Wilkins is the right pick there but feel like they might go Gary if that were their options irl
Is this thread OK with Isaiah Oliver and Trufant as our starting CBs going into next yr? Almost seems like we need to go DB in first 3 rounds.
I could see us double dipping on CB. Grab an outside guy in rounds 2-3 and then grab somebody like Hamp Cheavers in the later rounds to play nickle.
Feel like Tytus Howard is the more realistic pick but Julian Love is available and would scratch that corner itch.
Almost feel like a pass rusher would be better.
If not, then corner based on our shitty FA signing at OT.
Nobody really jumping off the page as worthy of a second rounder. There’s Polite, Walker, and Miller.
I like that Julian Love pick. There is a cliff after him as far as CB. Trayvon Mullen wouldve gotten consideration from me too.
Other needs still have good value on the board.
Yeah, Love had the best value at a position of need. I think rotational edge or o-line depth can be found in the next round. I, personally, would like to take an RB in the 4th because I’m worried about Free holding up.
Good thing he’s got a huge cap hit at a position where replacement value is negligible in different
Did you just make a joke, Bobby
Hehehe good one
Id be ok with trading up in the 2nd if one of the top CBs are still left, after we've drafted a DL or OT.
Guys, don’t be afraid to talk up the Julian Love pick. You might be surprised to know this but I actually love getting compliments.
wasn't sure what to make of Love until reading his nfl.com draft bio, and this line jumped off the page:
Inspiring ability to mirror and match with quick, quiet feet
It's good to draft inspirational leaders.
like the Hill pick Clown Baby
some good options there between him, Bryce Love, Benny Snell and even Rodney Anderson. Think that 4th or the compensatory one will have great value at that position.
Would feel better with Clown Baby drafting than Dimitriff
