That’s at least the 2nd Pick Ryan has thrown already this season when throwing into double coverage or worse to Luke fucking Stocker. Julio, Ridley, Sanu, Hooper, Freeman... if you ever throw to even a tightly single covered Luke Stocker you deserve to lose.
Ryan just completely ignores Julio and Ridley on a ridiculous amount of plays, usually to lock in on a TE for whatever reason
The only thing I can think of is he's under the belief that he's fooling everyone by not going to Julio.
He comes the injury bug again. Really fucking sucks to know our season is basically over 2.5 games in.
I've always maintained that Ryan was a mediocre QB with a talented receiving corp his entire time here. He had one exceptional season under Shanahan and that's it. Blank needs to fire Quinn asap and beg Kyle to come be HC as one of his final major moves as owner.
Shit, maybe tank now for a Burrow or Herbert, hell Fromm. Two seasons of this is a long time, but Law might be worth it.
Give me sunshine over all of them. Get the best OT or DE available with hopefully a top 5 pick in ‘20, Sunshine in ‘21
Long term, that is the smart play. Get Long, if he is off the board get Thomas. Tank for Trevor next year. Only problem is Julio isn't getting younger and I want Blank to see a SB win before he croaks.
Does TD have some incriminating photos or emails from Blank? I can’t figure out why we won’t can him.
The defense is laughably bad and the entire team is extremely undisciplined. Both issues can be placed entirely on Quinn. Our personnel packages on offense are just baffling. Under no circumstance should we be targetting Luke Stocker more than Calvin Ridley. This has been a pattern under Quinn IMO over the years.
Quinn is done. Neal out again for the year. Deion Jones hasn’t been his normal self. The DL is trash outside of Grady. The OL is mediocre as fuck. Ryan has been dogshit. Everyone needs to go, but mostly TD.
Ryan was incredible after the pick yesterday. That and free looked more like himself, had some explosiveness. That’s about the only good things to me about yesterday. Oh and our TE is a stud
Ryan has played like shit and deserves a lot of criticism this year, but the fucking defense letting them dink and dunk all the way for TDs along with an insane number of penalties was much more of the reason for the loss.
The INT's have been awful. I'll give him a pass on 1 or 2 against Philly because he was getting hit/couldn't follow through on 1 because of pressure, but they have to fucking stop. 6 ints already with 7 all of last season. But yesterday was encouraging for me, dude was lights out after that INT. Defense got a huge stop last weekend so of course they couldnt come through again. Just more undisciplined football, its a DQ staple
Yeah from rewatching the halftime coverage it was clear to Phil Simms and those guys that it's too plain and easy to game plan for and exploit about the falcons defense and Indy, and most other teams, know which routes to run to exploit it. Doesn't help the defense is sloppy and keeps taking turns having bad plays at each position.
Can we just trade all of our draft picks for the next two years to get some pass rush and Jalen Ramsey? That would be better alternative to two more years of TD drafts.
