When I played, I was a shooter and always argued that threes were the more efficient way to go, at least for someone like myself who shot around 50% in HS. My coaches disagreed and wanted to pound the paint all the time. Glad to see more people agree with me. Apologies for the not so humble brag about going to high school.
Went to a rival of Socastee when D'Antoni coached there. He was a good HS coach, but you wouldn't have expected him to be a college HC back then. Never won a state title despite having several future college players and I want to say he never even made it to Columbia. Completely changed his whole philosophy when he went to coach with his brother in the NBA. Guy looks great to be 70, too. He also founded the Beach Ball Classic. Weird because he wasn't allowed to come back to the tournament when he was coaching in the NBA due to scouting rules.

How about this piece of shit governors race we have going on. So far ive seen ads for two different candidates that proudly feature guns. The Templeton bitch is actually shown shooting a fucking gun “her granddaddy gave her to shoot the snakes around their hunting camp”. She apparently wants to take her little .38 to Columbia with her to shoot all the ‘snakes’ shes been buddies with for years. I cant remember who the other one was but it featured his family sitting around and him proudly asking his daughter what he gave her for her high school graduation to which she replies my .38 or some shit.

Anyone know details of the police officer killed in Florence yesterday All I read was it was a standoff at a home with an elderly man
I understand he was trying to rescue another downed officer and was killed himself. I don’t know him but I know of the family. The wife of the shooter is a divorce attorney in Florence. They foster/adopt children and apparently one of their “sons” was being arrested for child sexual charges and the father wasn’t having it. Not really sure what transpired from there, but I do understand the house had some high powered rifles and obviously caught the officers off guard.
For those of you who don’t know the full story... The man on the left, Seth Hopkins, was being served a search warrant for allegedly sexually assaulting a 10 year old foster child that was living at the home. He’s 27 years old. The shooting began when the officers came to serve the warrant. The man on the right, Fred Hopkins, is the one who shot the 7 officers. He’s Seth Hopkins father.
