Sup Keef and DelapThrows If only words could describe the heart and soul I put into that game. GOAT sports game
Sam Kelly @HEGS_com AFA: - No president - No idea how next season's Primera will be - Hawk nat'l team around for $ - Might be about to be deaffiliated from FIFA Sam Kelly @HEGS_com In VERY simple terms (because Twitter, and also because 2:06am), those are the main issues pissing national team players off at present.
If you like reading a wity Brit that tweets about his neighbors in Buenos Aires, and occasionally Argentine soccer, I would suggest following this Sam Kelly guy
I mean wow if Messi is really going to call it quits at 29 with a world cup only 2 years away. That is one sad way to go out.
He's probably also burned out from playing all of the matches he plays every year for club and country. He has been a pretty solid servant for Argentina despite choking away the match last night and having never led them to any sort of title lmbo
Sounds like the whole team is pissed at the Argentinian federation. I believe they were pissed about their flight being delayed because they knew there was the threat of severe weather and the team wanted to arrive the day before but the federation did nothing to accommodate the players. It sounds like this is just the most recent in a long line of issues the players have, and it boiled over with the loss last night.
Argentina is legitimately just the worst New World country. Everyone hates them in South America for good reason.
I went to Chile v Argentina in Santa Clara. Shit was crazy. I had a chance to go to the final but couldn't make it happen. Anyway, CHILE BICAMPEON DE AMERICA!!
it looked really nasty on replay also saw this on the ref https://twitter.com/FourFourTweet/status/748235012101775360
Tata Martino resigned. That's unfortunate. He's a good coach but lately just seems to be at the helm at the worst possible times.
Which is funny because he has twice the talent around him, he just can't get the job done. Can you imagine having to play with Nani and Pepe? God
So I didn't want to brag about it but I attended the Chile vs Argentina group stage match in Santa Clara. I am close friends with Sergio Romero's brother who played bball at FSU while I was there. He got me some awesome VIP seats and after the match we went to the team hotel to hang out with Sergio. We just hung out for about 2 hours and I met all the Argentine players except Messi, who never came out of his room. I asked Sergio about it, and he said that Messi is just different (duh), and stays by himself most of the time in his room. Not even Aguero, who was his roommate, spends a lot of time with him. They all just attribute it to Messi being an insane star since the age of 16 (mind you Aguero played at Independiente at 16 as well and is no slouch). So yeah in short, I'm not sure Messi doesnt like them but there is certainly a bit of a disconnect. End of cool story bro.
Messi has always come across as immensely socially awkward...which could have a lot to do with the child-star treatment
