He’s a really good prospect. This is his first year of first team soccer so he is still a little bit raw but he’s incredible for his age. Great technique, good dribbler, and is good at finishing for his age. That being said I seriously doubt he leaves santos soon. Brazilian journalists are just as bad as the rest of the world. Until globoesporte announces it I wouldn’t believe the reports. Edit: just read it’s from marca so I highly doubt it
How does he compare to Vinicius? I don't think he's even eligible to move to Europe until 2020 so you're spot on there.
I would say theyre a bit similar. A lot of flair and ridiculous technique for their age. Although I think Vinicius Junior is better at the moment. Of the top prospects playing in Brazil the best are probably Lucas Paquetá, Paulinho, Vinicius Junior, and then Rodrygo in that order. And why wouldn't he be able to move when until 2020? He's 17. He just needs to wait until next year to be 18 and move
Didn’t understand why Casio was on Brazil’s WC roster till last night. Colo Colo should have won by 3.
So I've gone to the last 3 FC Juarez games and I feel comfortable that we'll get promotion to the 1st division. We tied last night but we created so many chances. If we get first division I think we'll be able to compete with our owners pockets being so deep. It would be awesome if we could make it to the Libertadores
Here we go. Independiente was awarded a 3-0 victory over Santos after it was discovered that Santos used an ineligible player on the first leg. This led to a really bad atmosphere in São Paulo for the return leg. Apparently the Santos fans did not let Indpendiente sleep last night at their hotel using noise bombs and singing all night. Things didn’t get better before the match where an Independiente fan was stabbed prior to the beginning of the match outside the stadium. Libertadores at its finest.
Back in June there was a lot of talk about the possibility of the Concacaf champs league finalists or semi finalists joining into the next years Libertadores. Travel and scheduling are the biggest hang ups.
River with an easy win over Racing 3-0. Flamengo and Corinthians both won but not by enough so Cruzeiro and Colo Colo advance.
Anybody else watching Boca and Cruzeiro? Looks like the first leg of the final is tonight or am I watching some kind of replay? Love the culture and passion of South American soccer. European soccer has a different level of meaning to fans than American sports, and a different connection with the community (which I love too), but in South America, it’s everyting, and you can feel it.
One of my employees is from Buenos Aires and his team is independiente. I pull for his team and he pulls for Liverpool.
