So rumors they play the game in the UAE? Jesus lol
They can't play it next week with G20. This is going to be a disaster...but I'm in Buenos Aires next month so I might be involved
That's where the Club World Cup match is December 18. So they might fly both teams there and the winner stay
What a mess
On one hand, I want the game to be played but OTOH I don’t want a relocation to some lame neutral site
If this game is played anywhere but Buenos Aires its a tragedy
You honestly think the atmosphere in Buenos Aires would be better than in Miami on a random Wednesday (do to dolphins scheduling conflicts)?
I don’t know if you know this, but this is the first time the libertadores is not being played on a Thursday. I’m 100% sure it would be better. Not to mention that the libertadores is so special because you get to see your team. People here are poor and we can’t pay for airplanes to travel to places where people have no interest.
December 8 or 9 outside of Argentina. Way to go CONMEBOL.
Then stop being a bunch of idiots and putting the players in danger. If the two fan bases could not throw shit buses, the game would have been played already.
So a minority group of people should ruin it for the majority? Not to mention it was the police that didn't help with a lot of what went on
Oh come on. There's documentaries about the violence at these games. It's not like it was 4 guys throwing shit at those buses in the video. Don't be obtuse.
Sorry you're deciding to put your blinders on to decades of documented violence. Maybe you should be more open minded about what can fix this so your poor fans can watch it
Boca looks like they will refuse to play and want a walk over
Qatar gets it
Sounds like it's going to be played in Madrid now.
Such a fucking joke. Libertadores da América will be played in Spain. CONMEBOL is the worst federation in the world
Apparently River Plate are refusing to play in Madrid. This thing is bizarre
Fuck what River want, they're lucky not to be disqualified based on what happened in '15
Two different situations but sure
Also, pretty much the whole of South America disagrees with this game going to Europe, not just River. Add the fact that the ticket prices are about 5x normal price and Real season ticket holders get priority is fucking rificulous. But conmebol gonna conmebol
Delay has allowed Pavon to recover from his hamstring injury from the first leg. Expected to start on Sunday now
KO less than 30 minutes away
That would have been a brutal own goal
Messi in the house. Pretty cool. The flops and fouls kill any rhythm. No flow to the game. The winner will come from some spastic sequence.
Wowwww. What a ball holy shit
That was one hell of a pass
That first touch
It’s obviously lame that the game is in Madrid but it’s nice that there’s still an amazing atmosphere by the sounds of it.
River needs to put Quintero on to create something
That's a pen
Don't even review it. Wtf
This ref is garbage
Is this guy even watching the game?
