Should I expect any side effects after my first pfizer shot? are there things I shouldn’t do after the shot?
pperc does anybody have a clue when mRNA folks need to consider a booster? I imagine around the 8-12 month mark they’ll recommend it for economic if not concrete scientific reasons. Side note, did you ever crack open that Booker’s Rye sample?
Got my 2nd Moderna shot yesterday around 11:30am. Slept fine and feeling ok at the moment, haven't taken any Tylenol, just dealing with a ridiculously sore arm. Supposed to play golf this afternoon and have dinner with two friends (outdoors and socially distanced) tonight. Hopefully I can keep on this path and do both of those items.
I got the 2nd shot on Wednesday at 3:30 and my arm hurt up until this morning, but I never had any other affects. Not sure if I'm lucky or my immune system isn't that great. I haven't been sick in years, but I did have Covid in July (with only a sore back, scratchy throat, and diarrhea). Maybe that's why I didn't have a big reaction?
You might get tired this afternoon. It hit me the day after with the tiredness. Just kinda napped off and on all day

2nd Moderna is in. Where my #modernamafia at? (6 hours later and I can already feel the lethargy. Much faster onset than with the 1st shot. That’s the only reaction so far.)
Was supposed to get Pfizer but wound up Moderna. Getting my second 5/12. Excited to be one step closer.
Yeah I just wanted whatever was going in the arm. I think I could have said no and I think they had Pfizer but didn’t want to be that guy.
Got that second Pfizer this afternoon. Not that I needed any more of a reason to not get off the couch while the Masters is on, but I got one anyway.
On day 8 after the second dose of Moderna, got a little swelling in my throat on one side. Hoping it’s just a delayed side effect, had a very slightly irritated throat all week as did the wife.
Went great, lucked out and just hung out under a nice tent with one national guard person and my fiancée and unwrapped bandages for five hours, delivering them every other hour to the injection stations. Chill as fuck.
Mild fever all day yesterday, pretty achy, and felt like I was moving in slowmo all day. Followed through with nonstop Masters. Full 36 hours later, I feel great and about to hit the course for my own 18.
First day in the gym in a year, since I'm vaxxed. I am the only person wearing a mask. It's very much am I the baddie moment
Now New Hampshire is confusing me. Over 48% of the population has had 1+ vaccine doses but their new cases are over 30 per 100K.
