they switched to weekly reporting instead of daily so that way the new daily numbers don't look bad and it would force you to go back and look at the data which most people don't do most news cycles are 24 hours so they think by doing this people will think the death is under control ie covid is under control welcome to the brain of Ron Desantis
The way Florida reports deaths is by the day the death actually occurred instead of the day it was reported. Due to the inherent delay, that puts it several days back on the report more often than not. It’s not incorrect or falsified (that we know of) but it intentionally obfuscates the data because the chuds in Florida see a downward trend every single day and think nothing of the data that exists past the 3 most recent days that typically show very low death totals. If you look at the report over the course of a week, you’ll see the deaths climb each day as a particular day gets closer to falling off the report.
Many of the people getting hammered in the map also assert God is punishing people who get smashed by natural disasters etc... Interesting they don't see the connection in this instance
I actually think most of the south (coast excluded) being extremely stable adds to the South East’s ability to be shitty Yeah we’ll catch some Tornadoes but the New Madrid hasn’t popped in forever
I’d assume if you’re an unvaccinated football player the chances of you catching covid is 100% either on or off the field.
I guess being vaccine hesitant seems like the smartest position in the world to hold to someone of average intelligence.
imagine how annoying it has to be for the vaccinated people to have him try to discuss his dumbass theories with you "all the time" under the guise of gathering more information
https://www.tampabay.com/news/health/2021/09/02/twelve-hours-in-a-florida-covid-19-icu/ Lol God fucking dammit
Fiance just got her third shot. Guess her hospital system opened it up to staff so they had a slot and she got it. Got her first two last Dec.
Getting kids vaccinated should be of the upmost priority. Fuck the adults who don’t want it. They’re a lost cause. Focus on the kids
There isn’t a single adult that has refused the vaccine this long that’s going to go and get it, unless their job requires it and even then they’re most likely just going to get fired for refusing it. They’re lost. Treat them like the plague they are and just move on.
Or just hold them down and stick them like the crying fucking children they are. Give them a lolli after
“Tell me specifically what other information you require. Please, enlighten me on what you’ve researched and what other info you need.” Needs to be the follow up to everyone who answers that way.
My SIL looked at the briefs and thought they left enough words in there to make it seem like they thought it was unconstitutional and someone could be able to come at it another way.
One of my coworkers I work closely with tested positive despite being vaccinated. There are five people in my department at work, if you count the department manager. The COVID+ one is obviously out One is part time and only works in the mornings One is getting married this weekend and is out tomorrow My manager is only going to be working in the morning tomorrow I get tasked with the work of five people Friday afternoon.
How the hell are these idiots more concerned about the long-term effects of the vaccine more than the long-term effects OF ACTUALLY CONTRACTING THE VIRUS? I don’t get it.
In general, I agree. But I do know a friend-of-a-friend who got the vaxx last month after his wife had to be hospitalized. And my wife is a covid nurse who discharges quite a few patients that just needed to spend a week or two in the hospital before being convinced they needed the shot
Key word is I got tasked. I'm not allowed to work OT. So I will do the work of one person and if shit doesn't get done then shit doesn't get done.
I was thinking last night, is there a single action an adult (say in their 30s) could take in the short term that has a better expected value for life expectancy/long term quality-of-life than getting the covid shot? Only things I could come up with were: 1. Depositing $1M+ into an HSA to guarantee you get the best health care available for the rest of your life 2. Quit smoking 3. Get the covid shot
And let’s be real, if you care about long-term effects on your body professional football isn’t the way to go,
$1mil doesn't even guarantee the best health care for the rest of my life my infusions are $84,000 a year so that'll last me 12 years
